First, a huge congratulations to the people of Italy who dealt another body blow to the European Union bureaucracy and to globalism and socialism in their Sunday referendum, by up to 20 points. This was just as much a shock as the election of Donald Trump in the USA.
The vote was driven largely by anger over illegal immigration from Africa into Italy, with one government official recently declaring that Italians should open their homes to illegals. This statement alone contributed significantly to the loss.
The populist 5 Star Movement gets a big boost from the election, as well as the anti-immigrant Northern League.
Italian prime minister Matteo Renzi will now resign. Good. And here is another note worth a hearty laugh about the declining fortunes of global socialism/communism: The Russian-made jeep carrying the ashes of the late Cuban dictator Fidel Castro broke down in the middle of his funeral procession, forcing soldiers to push the vehicle until it could be repaired.
Hilarious. Now here is today’s main commentary:
The Democrat party is now emerging from the “shock” phase of the Trump victory and is entering the “dazed” and “panicked” part.
Once you look at what happened in the election, and what has been happening for the last 8 years as liberals have lost power nationwide, and what is happening globally with the anti-globalist and anti-socialist movements, you can see the Democrats falling into crisis mode with no way to explain or rationalize themselves.
Here are the important issues and people to watch:
Wealthy Democrat contributors now feel totally burned. They gave huge sums to Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders and got nothing but an electoral debacle.
There are stories on the internet about Democrat contributors saying that they will give no more money unless major reforms are made. They are especially angry at Hillary and Bill Clinton for blowing the election.
But major changes won’t be made because the Democrats have no new ideas and never have. The Democrats in the House just re-elected Nancy Pelosi (76 years old) as their leader with Pelosi even saying after the election that “I don’t think people want a new direction”(!)
The Senate picked Charles Schumer (66 years old) while the Democratic National Committee may choose as its leader an anti-Semitic Muslim US congressman who once held a meeting with a Saudi extremist.
Stunning. These people never learn. They are going off the deep end and we all should be watching in glee.
The Democrat party is now leader-less. Obama had planned to act as head of the party, but Hillary lost and Obama was just repudiated by Trump. So Obama is in a very weak position.
Obama is going to stay in Washington to guide the party but he will be treated with skepticism and even anger by many Democrats since his agenda was just tossed out by the voters.
It is amazing how Trump’s successful effort to keep the Carrier jobs in Indiana has made Trump seem like he is president already and has made many Americans forget that Obama even exists. More amazing is the video that shows Obama mocking Trump’s efforts to do things like the Carrier deal. Thus Obama already is losing his legacy before he even leaves office. This is going to accelerate as Trump succeeds.
The Clintons are gone. Good. Perhaps the second best benefit from the election after the rise of Trump is the final disposing of this odious couple that has been in our faces every day for 25 years.
This poses a major problem for Democrats. The Clintons were expected to become the First Couple on January 20, and there are and were no substitutes in the wings. Now that Plan A has fallen through, what are the Democrats going to do?
Good question. And you can rest assured that the Clintons are in an emotional meltdown. After all, Hillary’s lifelong dream is in ashes, and Bill Clinton probably can no longer get his calls returned. Millions of people all over America and the world are blaming the Clintons for the election debacle. This is a stunning turnaround for two people who thought for certain that they would be ruling the world as of January 20, 2017.
Shallow bench: The Democrats have nobody in line for the presidential race for 2020 since they simply expected Hillary to win the November 8 election and to be their incumbent candidate in 2020. The only marginally possible candidate who might have been considered is Andrew Cuomo, governor of New York, but several of his top aides have just been indicted in a major corruption scheme and everyone suspects that Cuomo is corrupt too. He is now toast.
Watch for Eric Trump or Donald Trump Jr. to run for governor of New York in 2018 to “drain the swamp” in the state capital of Albany, the most corrupt state capital in the nation as a result of hard-left Democrat corruption coming out of New York City.
Power outage: The Democrats are the “party of government” yet they are out of power in historic terms. Here are the facts. When Trump is inaugurated on January 20 Republicans will control:
*the White House and the enormous power that goes with it, including the power to appoint Supreme Court justices and federal judges, which will re-make American jurisprudence for decades to come;
*the US Senate, with 52 Republican US senators out of 100. That number even could go to 53 since one Democrat may switch parties. This gives Republicans majority control of the Senate again, which they were expected to lose in the recent election. This means that Trump will generally get all of the legislation that he wants and the appointments that he wants, including the Supreme Court. His first Court pick could be Ted Cruz of Texas;
*the US House of Representative with 247 Republicans to 188 Democrats, a historic GOP majority. As Republican dominance continues long-serving Democrats may quit out of frustration, leading to a possible snowball effect in favor of the GOP;
*Republicans will hold 33 out of 50 governorships, and maybe 34 since one race is outstanding as of this writing. Republican governors rule almost all of the thriving and growing American states, and also many once-liberal states like Wisconsin and Michigan. Even Vermont just elected a Republican governor by a whopping 9 points.
*Republicans will have majority control of 68 out of 98 state legislative bodies.
*Republicans have been doing extremely well in mid-term elections and so you can expect their power to rise even more in 2018, with Trump there to help them.
Squabbling and finger-pointing: After a historic defeat like the November 8 election Democrats are going to sink into a vengeful bout of squabbling that is going to last for months. This is going to further diminish them as their time is consumed bickering rather than planning for future elections.
Trump success: Nikitas3.com believes that Donald Trump is going to be a very successful president. Already the Carrier deal has put him in the spotlight and has changed millions of minds about who he is. One Indiana labor leader said that he opposed Trump vehemently in the election, but that the Carrier deal totally changed his mind. Millions are now following.
And when Trump succeeds he is going to put the Democrat party further and further behind. If Trump is re-elected in 2020 then that will be game over for the Democrats. They may never recover.
Media crash and burn: The Democrats’ cronies in the elite media are totally clueless about Trump and about America in general. They completely misreported and lied about the election. They thrive in New York in their own bubble. Most have never visited “flyover country”.
They do not know how to address Trump or analyze him. This will hurt them badly in the 4 or probably 8 years that Trump is president because they will ‘miss the boat’ and lose even more of their credibility.
Roles reversed: After liberals controlled the media for decades we conservatives have taken command with a genuine tool of democracy – the internet. And our impressive and strategic use of the internet is helping to vanquish the Dinosaur Media (ABC, CBS, New York Times, etc.) which have been losing credibility for many years.
Democrats and their friends at CNN have not quite absorbed the significance of all of this since they are still reeling from Trump’s win. They had better learn soon. 2018 is coming up fast. And 2020.
University crash and burn: The college professors and their Snowflake underlings are wholly out of synch with what is happening. This is going to cause them all serious mental problems and make them feel alienated.
Since they cannot deal with reality, they will find themselves even further outside of it. Expect major craziness. And if the Snowflakes go crazy they won’t be able to participate in future elections except to protest, break things and riot, which will never win elections but will cost them even more support for their causes.
Climate-change alarmists & environmentalists: The most powerful special-interest groups in world history now have lost their spokesman in the White House, who has headed up a national network that has arranged the transfer of hundreds of billions of American dollars in taxpayer subsidies and other payments to the ‘green’ movement through the relentless beating of the “climate” drum.
Trump may very well end federal subsidies outright, leaving the eco-fraudsters either livid or frightened to death. They will be livid for their loss of power and wealth, while the tree huggers are scared to death that Trump is going to kill the earth with oil and natural gas.
