America Can Have All the Prosperity that We Want

In 2012 was talking to a liberal and I told him that I was going to vote for Romney since Obama was totally unacceptable to me. And the guy asked me almost incredulously, “So what is Romney going to do to improve the economy?”

This guy was a typical liberal who believed that the terrible Obama economy – which was even worse back in 2012 – was the new normal, and that nothing could change, that policies make no difference.

This, friends, is how socialism and communism take root and hold onto power. Even when tens of millions of Americans are suffering, including Democrat voter blocs like blacks and hispanics, the Mainstream Media seek to convince us that nothing is ever going to be better, and to stick with leaders like Obama or Hillary Clinton.

This is how left-wing media factions the world over protect and promote socialist/communist leaders, and there is a good reason for it – because these leaders concentrate wealth and power in their own hands.

Then their media sycophants are cut in on the cash and the parties and the power and the adulation and the perks, just like Obama is buddy-buddy with his media shills in Washington and makes them all seem bigger than life as millions of Americans suffer without jobs or hope.

We conservatives have always said that honest leaders and good capitalist policies can give Americans all of the prosperity that we want. has been saying this for many years and has been met with incredulity.

Yet now Trump is proving it even before he has taken office. Here are some examples that we have seen recently after years in which the media told us that the American economy could never recover any of the jobs lost over the last few decades.

First here is an excerpt from about China’s richest man Jack Ma and his company Alibaba, which is an online retailer that competes with

President-elect Donald Trump said he had a “great meeting” with Alibaba executive chairman Jack Ma on Monday, when they discussed 1 million new U.S. jobs. Ma said that Alibaba’s expansion would focus on products like garments, wine and fruits, especially in the Midwest.

“We’re focused on small business,” Ma told reporters. “We specifically talked about … supporting 1 million small businesses, especially in the Midwest of America. Small businesses on the platform selling products — agriculture products and America services — to China and Asia, because we’re pretty big in Asia.”

This is obviously great news. Imagine people in the struggling Midwest, who have been abandoned and forgotten for decades in declining economies suddenly thinking optimistically about creating new businesses and opportunities for themselves and for their children and grandchildren.

This never would have happened under Hillary Clinton or Obama. It was Trump’s strong business persona that attracted Ma. They are like-minded men and they know how to get things done and to create jobs. Now here is an excerpt from about Toyota’s response to Trump’s election:

Toyota is set to make a $10 billion capital investment in the U.S. over the next five years, Toyota Motor North America chief executive Jim Lentz said during an interview at the Detroit auto show, Reuters reported.

Meanwhile reported in December:

SoftBank Group Corp. Chief Executive Officer Masayoshi Son told President-elect Donald Trump he would create 50,000 new jobs in the U.S. through a $50 billion investment in startups and new companies.

The money will come from SoftBank’s previously announced $100 billion technology fund, according to a person familiar with the matter. That investment vehicle has a $45 billion commitment from the government of Saudi Arabia and $25 billion from Tokyo-based SoftBank, which operates technology and wireless companies around the world.

And on and on – the Carrier deal, Ford, etc. We all know the story. In other words, the snowball just keeps picking up speed as polls show confidence in the economy skyrocketing since Trump’s election. This never would have happened with Hillary Clinton as president-elect.

The whole world is waking up to America with Trump in charge since the whole world knows that America is the best and most creative nation in history while millions of American liberals and their media cronies tried to make us think otherwise.

Everyone knows that the United States is still the “economic engine of the world” and that a thriving America means more prosperity for all. America is 4 times as wealthy per person ($56,000) as China is, and our annual economy ($20 trillion GDP) is almost twice the size of China’s even after decades of American stagnation and rapid Chinese growth.

Meanwhile ALL of the world’s technology, which has led to all of the world’s economic growth, has emanated from Europe and especially the United States, and none from China.

Obama is quickly becoming a forgotten figure who stood idly by as the US economy stagnated and jobs fled overseas as if nothing could be done. This story is told by the numbers:

*In 8 years under Obama the US economy has created 11 million “net new jobs” which is the number you get when you subtract the total number of people employed in the US workforce when he took office from the number when he leaves. Far too many of these Obama jobs have been part-time and low pay.

*In 8 years under Republican president Ronald Reagan from 1981 to 1989 the US economy created 16 million net new jobs, and that was in a much smaller economy. If adjusted for the bigger US economy today, it would be 21 million jobs. Reagan also created much better-quality jobs with much higher pay because Reagan pursued opposite policies to Obama, as will Trump.

* predicts that Trump will create up to 25 million or more net new jobs in 8 years, and that Trump policies will reverberate for decades, as Reagan’s did.

In short, tens of millions of Americans will go from hopelessness to hope. And that is the best feeling in the world for those of us who really care about our fellow man.
