Trump is Like Captain America, Flying into Action

First here is a quick word about our super-beautiful new first lady Melania Trump:

A left-wing TV talk show host said recently that she would never interview Melania on her program because Mrs. Trump “can barely speak English.”

But actually Mrs. Trump speaks five languages – her native Slovene, English, French, Serbian and German.

Isn’t it wonderful to watch these leftists self-destruct? Their anger, stupidity, prejudice, hatred and insanity is really hurting their case and is only going to get worse. Now here is today’s main commentary:

If you want to know why Donald Trump was elected president, look at how he has taken action immediately to make the world safer and better in his first few days in office.

Trump is like Captain America. He just gets things done. He is famous for working hard and for long hours late into the night, and this now is continuing in his presidency. Compare that to Hillary Clinton who could not even stand up for a 9/11 memorial service, but collapsed and had to be whisked away in her medical van.

Trump could be enjoying a retirement that most Americans only dream about. But he did not want to sit around his $200 million Florida estate and play golf. Trump is a man of action. He really cares about our nation and so he ran for president.

He is taking charge immediately as he promised to do on Day One. He called the Egyptian president to stress America’s commitment to the fight against terrorism and to plan for the Egyptian leader’s visit to the US. Egypt is one of America’s strongest allies in the Middle East. Trump also has spoken with many foreign leaders that the previous president ignored or slighted.

Here are some of Trump’s other accomplishment from the first few days:

The Trump administration already has set in motion the rollback of Obamacare; ordered a freeze on federal hiring; expunged the “climate change” section from the White House website; made the website English-only; canceled the Trans Pacific Partnership trade agreement; met with both business leaders and labor leaders to discuss concrete steps to revitalize American manufacturing; and canceled US government funding for foreign organizations that promote abortion.

Meanwhile reports:

Shortly after taking the oath of office as our 45th president of the United States on Friday, the official White House website quickly published six top new issue statement, all top priorities of the Trump’s administration, including one titled, “Standing up for our Law Enforcement Community”. … Trump states (that) his administration “will be a law and order administration” committed to ending the “dangerous anti-police atmosphere in America.”

This is the “anti-police atmosphere” encouraged since the 1960s by Democrats and that got much worse under the previous administration.

Thus Trump is actually showing us what a real leader does rather than a political hack who only serves to entrench the status quo and the economic decline and stasis that have been gripping America for the last 8 years.

Meanwhile Republican Alabama US Representative Mike Rogers has introduced one of the best bills in history, the American Sovereignty Restoration Act of 2017 which calls for the United States to sever all ties with the United Nations, which has already called for.

After decades in which the United Nations has abused America and Israel, and stood up for tyrants and thugs, it is time for the US to depart and de-fund this corrupt globalist organization.

What else did Captain America do in his first few days? Well, he and his new defense secretary James Mattis hammered ISIS with 31 air attacks on the opening day of the Trump War on Radical Islam, which the previous president played like patty cake.

Here is the actual Pentagon report on the air strikes which shows us strike by strike what was accomplished. When this goes on for months at a time ISIS will be decimated. This is not hard to do if we actually want to do it, which Obama did not. The Pentagon says:

U.S. and coalition military forces continued to attack Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant terrorists in Syria and Iraq yesterday, Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve, officials reported today.
Officials reported details of yesterday’s strikes, noting that assessments of results are based on initial reports.
Strikes in Syria
Attack, bomber, fighter, and remotely piloted aircraft conducted 25 strikes consisting of 39 engagements in Syria:
— Near Bab, two strikes engaged an ISIL tactical unit, destroyed an artillery piece and damaged a tactical vehicle.
— Near Raqqa, 22 strikes engaged 12 ISIL tactical units; destroyed nine fighting positions, two tunnels, two tanks an improvised-bomb factory and an ISIL headquarters; and suppressed three ISIL tactical units.
— Near Dayr Az Zawr, a strike destroyed two oil well heads.
Strikes in Iraq
Attack, bomber, fighter and remotely piloted aircraft conducted six strikes consisting of 16 engagements in Iraq, coordinated with and in support of the Iraqi government:
— Near Rutbah, a strike engaged an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed a tactical vehicle, two weapons caches and a mortar.
— Near Beiji, a strike engaged an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed a vehicle.
— Near Kisik, a strike engaged an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed a vehicle and an ISIL-held building.
— Near Mosul, two strikes engaged two ISIL tactical units; destroyed a vehicle-borne-bomb factory, a vehicle-borne bomb, a tank, three fighting positions and a vehicle; and suppressed an ISIL tactical unit.
— Near Tal Afar, a strike engaged an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed a semi-truck and a command-and-control node.

Now here is news on another subject, about our incoming secretary of state Rex Tillerson, who is another man of action. Perhaps you recall our former secretary of state telling us that ‘climate change’ was more of a threat to mankind than terrorism or communism.

Isn’t it nice to get back to reality? Tillerson actually is hoping to undermine the repressive communist government of Venezuela and free the people there, while the previous administration did virtually nothing. Venezuela is on the northern coast of South America. talked about Tillerson as a good candidate for secretary of state in that he has real-world experience in foreign nations as an employee of the global oil company Exxon Mobil starting in 1975 and culminating in his position as CEO.

Tillerson is reported to have worked in 50 different nations with everyone from oil-field workers to government bureaucrats to national leaders like Vladimir Putin, whom he knows personally. This is what you call genuine ‘foreign policy’ experience.

Venezuela has the world’s fourth-largest oil reserves but has slid into poverty, chaos, hyper-inflation and energy shortages under its communist government, which has ruled since 1998. Here are excerpts from reporting on Tillerson and Venezuela, with a comment after each: reports: In 2007 the late Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez gave foreign oil companies operating in his country an ultimatum – either hand over a bigger share of their profits to the Bolivarian Republic or risk having their assets nationalized. While most of the companies agreed to Chavez’s demands, there was one company that didn’t: ExxonMobil. The refusal to give into Chavez’s dictate saw ExxonMobil – headed at the time by then-CEO Rex Tillerson – lose an estimated $10 billion in properties throughout the South American nation and set up a contentious relationship between Venezuela and the global oil giant. In what some see as an ironic twist of fate, Tillerson is now poised to become the United States’ next secretary of state and will play a crucial role in shaping the Trump administration’s policies in regards to the already turbulent relations between Washington and Caracas. comment: This is how real life experience can show us what the world is really like, versus the elite ‘diplomatic’ approach of previous administrations where foreign policy is learned in university and conducted over wine and dinner in Davos, Paris, Beijing and Washington. reports: Tillerson is critical of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s economic and human rights policies, and strongly advocates working with regional powers toward a solution to the ongoing political crisis. “I think we are in full agreement as to the calamity that has befallen Venezuela, largely a product of its incompetent and dysfunctional government-first under Hugo Chavez, and now under his designated successor, Nicolas Maduro,” Tillerson wrote. “I would urge close cooperation with our friends in the hemisphere, particularly Venezuela’s neighbors, Brazil and Colombia, as well as multilateral bodies such as the [Organization of American States], to seek a negotiated transition to democratic rule in Venezuela.” comment: Yes, finally, let’s help the good people of Venezuela, whom Obama ignored despite severely deteriorating conditions in that nation. reports: After the expropriation, Tillerson took Venezuela to international arbitration court and demanded his company be paid based on the $10 billion market value of the company assets in the country, not the $1 billion “book value” that Chavez was offering. The court, however, sided with Venezuela and in 2014 Exxon settled for $1.6 billion. comment: Typical socialists. They just take everything they can steal. reports: But on close reading of his words, Tillerson does voice one major difference with Obama’s polices toward Venezuela – a call for “transition to democracy.” comment: Good. It’s about time we got a secretary of state willing to act. reports: Since global oil prices plunged in 2015, Venezuela hasn’t had the funds to import basic goods such as food and medicine, creating acute shortages and stirring anger toward Maduro. Adding to the overall misery are a drastic rise in violent crime, especially in the capital city of Caracas, rolling blackouts and widespread and often times bloody protests against the government. There have been casualties and deaths on both sides of the protests and accusations from the international community of human rights abuses and political oppression. comment: This, friends, is communism in a nutshell. It happens every single time communism takes control.
