The War on President Trump being waged by the media, Democrats, Hollywood and the rest of the wacky left is spinning out of control.
The whole story is best illustrated by the Academy Awards fiasco when the Follywood elites were certain that it was going to be a night to remember with non-stop Trump bashing.
Instead it went completely the other way with the Tinseltown snotbags announcing the wrong Best Picture award, their biggest moment of the year and their biggest Oscar screwup ever. Ever! It was wonderful to watch.
Trump then salted their wounds by calling them out for being so obsessed with their attacks on him that they couldn’t even get their awards straight. Trump was correct. Again.
Look at the post-election frenzy by the Trump haters – the riots, the absurd three-state vote recount, the electoral college death threats, the staged attacks on Muslims, and on and on. Every day they threw everything they had at Trump and they could not shake him. And now the attacks are failing and fading away.
They attacked Melania, Ivanka and Barron Trump mercilessly, while now generally there is silence. In fact Ivanka Trump’s fashion line is having record sales despite a nationwide boycott by liberals while Melania’s popularity is rising steadily.
Then the haters went after Steve Bannon, Stephen Miller, Rex Tillerson, Betsy DeVos, Scott Pruitt and every other nominated member of the administration. Yet these people are now in office and working quietly every day to get the Trump agenda through. The attacks had zero effect.
The liberals cannot, however, go back and attack the same people again and again since repeated attacks would only sound like “the boy who cried wolf”. Thus these direct attacks on these major figures are largely spent unless something really big comes up.
It was interesting to see attorney general Jeff Sessions going about his business normally just a few days after the liberals claimed that he had definitely perjured himself and certainly must resign. Or Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway suffering no ill effects after she was called out in a media firestorm for publicly promoting Ivanka Trump’s clothing line in a totally innocuous and cursory comment.
Indeed the War on Trump is dying down. Oh, it will never go away, but these people can only maintain their hysteria for so long before they wear themselves out like a child throwing a tantrum who eventually falls asleep.
Look at how the first Trump travel ban created an immediate frenzy, but the second has created very little. This is part of the pattern.
A recent poll even showed president Trump with 55% approval while the same poll showed Hillary Clinton at 35%. Wow. Amazing.
Can it get any worse for the Democrats? It sure can. The top-selling book on Amazon is a spoof book with blank pages called Reasons to Vote for Democrats: A Comprehensive Guide. This is doubly hurtful because Democrats have always represented themselves as the masters of ridicule, yet now they are the targets.
In France, we are seeing a phenomenon that would not be thought possible just one year ago. The Trump-like presidential candidate Marine LePen, who has been marginalized for years, now is getting enthusiastic Trump-like audiences. Fasten your seat belts for the French elections this Autumn.
Meanwhile it is Trump’s courage and audacity that sustains him. He strikes back, like on Twitter, which he is using super-effectively. Look at how he hit back against black “civil rights icon” John Lewis using Twitter, calling out Lewis for lying about never boycotting an inauguration before Trump’s when in fact he had boycotted George W. Bush’s inauguration 16 years before.
Lewis has been considered untouchable for decades. Until Trump came along, that is. Meanwhile Investor’s Business Daily reports:
The mainstream media’s open hostility to President Trump may be starting to backfire, according to the latest IBD/TIPP poll.
The poll found that 55% of the public says they’ve grown “weary from the media’s persistently negative coverage of President Trump.” A roughly equal share (54%) also believe that the news media “has assumed the role of the opposition party, constantly opposing the president and his policies at every turn.”
Not surprisingly, Republicans overwhelmingly hold these views (88% say they’re tired of the relentless negativity), but the media’s attacks are also turning off independents (55% of whom say they’re weary of the negative coverage) and moderates (54% of whom are weary). Most also believe that the press has assumed the role of the opposition party…
A study by the nonpartisan group Media Tenor found that only 3% of network news stories in the first month of the Trump administration could be described as positive. Of the rest, 43% were deemed negative, and 54% neutral. That’s a stark contrast to the overwhelmingly positive coverage of the early Obama administration, despite the fact that Obama had his own share of early stumbles.
And these attacks are not just malicious political rhetoric. They are usually outright false or they expose the attacker for being crazy or stupid, like the pop singer Madonna saying she wanted to blow up the White House. This is merely pushing people to support Trump in a backlash of sympathy.
There are so many examples. A “comedian” named Sarah Silverman posted photos of what she thought were ‘swastikas’ spray-painted on the sidewalk near her home, a sure sign, she concluded, of Trump-era anti-Semitism. Unfortunately for Silverman the markings were merely locational symbols painted on the sidewalk by utility crews, and they only looked vaguely like swastikas.
Silverman was embarrassed in a major way. She will not be heard from again about Trump, you can be sure. These famous people are ultra-sensitive to their public images and Silverman got hammered big-time on the internet for her stupidity.
This all is no surprise. Nikitas3.com predicted throughout 2016 that Trump would win the election and that he would make the media regret their relentless attacks on him. This now is happening, along with people who are losing their jobs all over the place for their intemperate internet language, like the Saturday Night Live writer who made a horrible joke about Barron Trump.
The Trump haters are even doing things that are downright illegal. New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof’s tweeted out recently that someone at the IRS should send him Trump’s tax returns, which would be a felony. Kristof wrote:
But if you’re in IRS and have a certain president’s tax return that you’d like to leak my address is NYT, 620 Eighth Ave, NY, NY 10018
Yet Kristof’s tweet itself is the solicitation of a felony with penalties equal to the crime itself. Definitions.uslegal.com/c/criminal-solicitation/ says:
“A person is guilty of solicitation to commit a crime if, with the purpose of promoting or facilitating its commission, he commands, encourages or requests another person to engage in specific conduct which would constitute such crime or an attempt to commit such crime or which would establish his complicity in its commission or attempted commission. It is immaterial that the actor fails to communicate with the person he solicits to commit a crime if his conduct was designed to effect such a communication.”
So it is time not just to strike back at the haters, but to use every aspect of the legal system against them to bring them down. Nikitas3.com is hoping that attorney general Sessions acts against Kristof soon.
Democrat power has been shrinking for years now, and particularly after the November election. Here are the numbers about how much power the Democrats have lost since Obama was first elected. Republicans now control:
*the White House and the enormous power that goes with it, including the power to appoint Supreme Court justices and federal judges, which will re-make American jurisprudence for decades to come;
*the US Senate, with 52 Republican senators out of 100. That number even could go to 53 since one Democrat may switch parties. This gives Republicans majority control of the Senate again, which they were expected to lose in the recent election. This means that Trump will generally get all of the legislation that he wants and the appointments that he wants, including the Supreme Court.
*the US House of Representative with 240 Republicans to 193 Democrats (with 2 vacancies), a massive GOP majority. As Republican dominance continues long-serving Democrats may quit out of frustration, leading to a possible snowball effect in favor of the GOP;
*Republicans hold 33 out of 50 governorships. Republican governors rule almost all of the thriving and growing American states, and also many once-liberal states like Wisconsin and Michigan. Even ultra-liberal Vermont just elected a Republican governor by a whopping 9 points.
*Republicans have majority control of 68 out of 98 state legislative bodies.
*Republicans have been doing extremely well in mid-term elections and so you can expect their power to rise even more in 2018, with Trump there to help them. Worse for Democrats, only eight Republican US senators are up for re-election in 2018 but 25(!) non-Republicans (Democrats and independents) are. This will provide a clear opportunity for another rout of the Democrats and could easily take Republicans to 60 US Senate seats, the “magic number” that would give Trump almost unlimited power.
Here is an added note from the Washington Post to make these arrogant Democrats even more depressed:
Donald Trump is set to inherit an uncommon number of vacancies in the federal courts in addition to the open Supreme Court seat, giving the president-elect a monumental opportunity to reshape the judiciary after taking office. The estimated 103 judicial vacancies that President Obama is expected to hand over to Trump in the Jan. 20 transition of power is nearly double the 54 openings Obama found eight years ago following George W. Bush’s presidency.
