Secret Service Laptop Theft Needs Aggressive Inquiry

The theft of a laptop computer from the car of a Secret Service agent is downright alarming. Here are some details from the New York Daily News, with a comment after each:

Daily News reports: Authorities are frantically searching for a Secret Service-issued laptop — containing floor plans for Trump Tower, information about the Hillary Clinton email investigation and other national security information — that was stolen from an agent’s car in Brooklyn, police sources told the Daily News Friday. The computer was lifted Thursday morning and officials are trying to determine if Agent Marie Argentieri was targeted or if the robbery was random. comment: Who is Marie Argentieri? What is her history? Does she hate Trump? Is she competent? What are her political views? Was she hired simply because she is a woman? What political connections does she have? Did she trade sex for her job? Let’s do a full check on her. Our military, security agencies, Secret Service, etc., have become infested with people who should not be there. Argentieri very well may be one of them. com demands no more women in these agencies on account of “affirmative action”. No more gays, blacks, etc. on account of “affirmative action”. These agencies need to hire qualified people who are honest and competent, not based on their gender, race, religion, sex orientation, etc., like they have been over the last 25 years.

New York Daily News reports about the computer theft: New York Police Department cops are assisting in the investigation, sources said. “It’s a very big deal,” a police source said. “There’s data on there that’s highly sensitive. They’re scrambling like mad.” Sources and neighbors said the thief stepped out of a dark-colored sedan, possibly an Uber, and darted into Argentieri’s Bath Beach driveway about 3 a.m. He grabbed the computer, a backpack, and other goods and walked away, sources said. comment: This sounds like an inside job. believes that Argentieri should be carefully scrutinized. How did this thief know precisely where to go? This does not appear at all to be a random theft. This is all very suspicious. Argentieri must be aggressively interrogated.

Then look at how the police source starts telling everyone what is on the laptop. This is totally contrary to good intelligence practices. This story should not even be being reported.

How did Argentieri just happen to leave her sensitive computer in her car overnight in the first place? Wouldn’t you think that a Secret Service agent would take the laptop into her house overnight? To protect the material on it? It even sounds like the car was unlocked. Was it? This needs to be investigated.

Argentieri sounds suspicious, like so many people in our national security agencies are. We saw another case like this in January, a female Secret Service agent in Denver who said that she would not ‘take a bullet’ for Trump like Secret Service agents are supposed to do if necessary. Here is Fox News reporting on January 28, 2017:

A Denver-based Secret Service agent who reportedly suggested that she would rather go to jail than take a bullet for President Trump has been placed on administrative leave.

The Washington Examiner reported Friday that Kerry O’Grady, the special agent in charge of the Secret Service’s Denver district, was placed on paid leave during an investigation.

O’Grady reportedly posted on Facebook in October, “As a public servant for nearly 23 years, I struggle not to violate the Hatch Act,” O’Grady wrote. “So I keep quiet and skirt the median. To do otherwise can be a criminal offense for those in my position. Despite the fact that I am expected to take a bullet for both sides. But this world has changed and I have changed. And I would take jail time over a bullet or an endorsement for what I believe to be disaster to this country and the strong and amazing women and minorities who reside here. Hatch Act be damned. I am with Her.”

Don’t forget that “I am with Her” was Hillary Clinton’s campaign slogan. This O’Grady should be fired and stripped of her pension. She is a threat to our national security and to president Trump.

O’Grady is another female who should not be trusted. How many more are there like her in the Secret Service? How was she vetted? Who hired her? Was she an “affirmative action” hire? Did she trade sex for her job? This all should be investigated. And she should not be placed on leave; she should be fired and prosecuted for dereliction of duty.

New York Daily News reports about the laptop theft in Brooklyn: The crook, dressed in black, didn’t get back in the car he arrived in. He was seen on surveillance video strolling away from the brick home wearing a backpack and holding a laptop, sources said. Neighbor Mike Mignuolo, 73, believes, based on the video police showed him, that the suspect moved quickly and with a purpose. comment: So obviously the “thief” knew exactly where to go, right? He pulled up in a car and ran into the driveway. That, friends, is a targeted hit, not a random robbery. The suspect “moved quickly and with a purpose”? This whole thing stinks. believes that this is part of the War on Trump from the radical left. And since the thief possibly arrived in an Uber ride, then it could be easy to track it. This must be done immediately.

New York Daily News reports: A Secret Service “employee was the victim of a criminal act in which our agency-issued laptop computer was stolen,” spokesman Shawn Holtzclaw said in a statement. The information on the laptop cannot be remotely erased, sources said. The agency said the device doesn’t contain classified information but could be used to access a server that does. comment: OK, here is more incompetence. The Daily News and the Secret Service spokesman tell us all about the laptop. They should give no information at all about the computer.

New York Daily News reports: “Secret Service-issued laptops contain multiple layers of security, including full disk encryption and are not permitted to contain classified information,” Holtzclaw said. “An investigation is ongoing, and the Secret Service is withholding additional comment until the facts are gathered.” comment: Gee, thanks Shawn, for divulging more about how the computer works, to give the thieves, and everyone else, more information.

New York Daily News reports: The agent (Argentieri) told investigators the laptop contained floor plans for Trump Tower, evacuation protocols and information regarding the investigation of Clinton’s private email server, according to sources. While nothing about the White House or foreign leaders is stored on the laptop, the information could compromise national security, she said. comment: Which the media are gleefully reporting to increase the threat to president Trump.

New York Daily News reports: The laptop theft is the latest in a series of embarrassments for the Secret Service. Last week, an intruder jumped the White House fence and wasn’t caught for 16 minutes, and a pair of agents are reportedly under investigation for taking pictures with Trump’s sleeping grandson. comment: It is time for president Trump to clean house at the Secret Service. Otherwise Trump himself will end up in grave danger. Here is an excerpt from Fox News on March 17, 2017:

The president is no longer safe on the White House grounds, according to former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino, who once guarded presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama.

Bongino made the stunning assessment in an interview Friday with Fox News. It followed an incident last Friday night when a man jumped the White House fence and may have roamed the property for as long as 15 minutes before he was stopped by the Secret Service.

Jonathan Tran, who carried two cans of mace, set off multiple alarms, Bongino said, and was even spotted by Secret Service officers, but was still able to come within “close proximity” of the White House and even reportedly “jiggled the door” to the executive mansion.

“The intruder set off multiple alarms, alarms that clearly showed someone breached the property, and he was seen by officers who didn’t think anything of it. This is a big story,” Bongino told Fox News.

“That just shows the president is not safe there – in the White House. The Secret Service does not have the assets, they don’t have personnel on the ground they need to keep him safe.”

‘Should a group of terrorists decide to storm the White House, the Secret Service would not be able to protect Trump, Bongino predicted.
