Trump Agenda is Advancing Methodically and Vigorously

First, here is a quick word about vice president Mike Pence.

He spoke forcefully in South Korea about US military might and he warned North Korea not to take president Trump lightly.

Pence looked great. He is a man of substance with a commanding presence, calm demeanor and silver hair that are signs of confidence and wisdom. believes that president Trump chose Pence to be a compelling representative of the Trump agenda, not as a do-nothing vice president like the gaffe-prone Joe Biden and his scandal-ridden past.

Vice president Pence emerged into the public eye during the vice presidential debate with Democrat Tim Kaine last October. In that debate Kaine was boorish and confrontational while Pence was well-spoken, intelligent and composed, like a good Midwestern conservative. Everyone who watched that debate agreed that Pence won it hands down. believes that Trump is grooming Pence to be president someday. The year 2024 sounds like a good time, after Trump completes his two terms. And now here is today’s main commentary:

From the media coverage you would think that president Trump is failing, that everyone hates Trump, and that he is on the verge of quitting the presidency.

Nothing could be further from the truth. President Trump is getting more done in his first three months in office than any other president in history. believes that Trump will be a very successful leader and will be re-elected in 2020.

Here is a list of Trump’s successes and the anti-Trump media coverage of those issues:

*Changing the tone: President Trump is significantly changing the whole tone of our national political discourse. This is a major but unspoken factor that is driving the liberals nuts.

*The economy: The American economy is doing better than it has in 10 years. All signs are up. This is a direct result of the positive influence that businessman Trump is having, that began the day after he was elected. The media are totally ignoring this story so that they can bash Trump over just about anything like the color of his tie or what he ate for dinner. Yet the economy is the major issue on which Trump was elected.

*Obamacare: The media cheered as the first attempt at repealing Obamacare failed. Not to worry. The Republicans will present another bill and Obamacare will be repealed when the time is right.

The very act of repealing an American entitlement like Obamacare is itself historic. It has never been done before. Trump is going to do it and the media will ignore the significance of it.

*Immigration: Illegal immigration into the US has fallen dramatically since president Trump took office. Here is reporting:

Illegal immigration across the US-Mexico border has plunged in the past two months as President Donald Trump’s crackdown takes hold, Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly said Wednesday.

Apprehensions of people trying to sneak into the United States, seen as an indicator of the total flow of undocumented immigrants, dropped to 16,600 in March, down 30 percent from February and 64 percent from a year ago.

Kelly told the Senate Committee on Homeland Security that there was even a sharper fall in the number of families and unaccompanied children crossing the border. “We’ve seen an absolutely amazing drop in the number of migrants coming out of Central America,” he said.

This shows that good leadership can produce quick results. Meanwhile attorney general Sessions said publicly:

“The most important thing for us is to send a message to the world that the border is not open, please don’t come. You will be apprehended if you do come, and you will be deported promptly. And if you’re a criminal, you’ll be prosecuted. And if you assault our officers, we’re going to come at you with a ton of bricks.”

Wow. Great. Keep up the good work, Mister Attorney General. We haven’t had this much honesty and integrity since Ronald Reagan was president.

*Energy independence: While the media and the “greenies” have gone insane over president Trump’s plan to increase American oil, coal and natural gas production, he is forging forth. He has approved both the Keystone Pipeline and the completion of the Dakota Access Pipeline. He also is rolling back punitive measures on the coal industry and on coal-fired power plants to get more coal miners back to work. This is precisely what he was elected to do. The media will not report on the story or will report it as a negative.

*Terrorism: The media slammed president Trump for his proposal to temporarily ban visitors from six terror-prone nations. Leftist judges frivolously blocked his executive orders. But if the Supreme Court gets one or both of these cases they will be approved since it is the president’s prerogative under law to order such a ban. Obama did it 19 times with no protest whatsoever.

*Border wall: President Trump is now considering designs for the wall on the Mexican border. Liberals said that he would never build it. He will. And don’t be fooled by the term “wall”. It will be an open design, like jail bars, since US border police want to see what is happening on the Mexican side. This “wall” is expected to be up to 30 feet tall, to discourage illegals going over it with ladders.

*Bathroom laws: Democrats are seeking to implement laws that allow men to go into ladies’ bathrooms, locker rooms, etc., in order to disrupt our social order. They are trying to sneak these laws in under the guise of anti-discrimination statutes for sex changers. President Trump is not buying it. He has withdrawn Obama’s executive orders to enforce such laws.

*EPA: Trump has appointed a strong Environmental Protection Agency leader who is going to reel in this out-of-control agency. Scott Pruitt, the former attorney general of Oklahoma, is going to rein in the job-killing EPA to get our economy working again.

*Foreign policy: Trump is seeking to induce or force North Korea to remove its oppressive dictator and abandon its nuclear weapons, hopefully with the help of China. This is something that Obama never sought to do in 8 years.

China appears to be joining the effort because they do not want destabilization in the region, and they know that Trump will do his best to get the job done peacefully and efficiently.

Iran: Expect president Trump to work with Israel to bomb Iranian nuclear sites to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons. This will make the world a much safer place. The American media will call Trump a warmonger. Too bad.

*International relations: President Trump has met with leaders from China, Germany, Britain, Israel and other nations. The meetings have been cordial and productive. The anti-Trump media suggested that no foreign leader would ever meet with a barbarian like Trump. They were wrong. Trump is proving himself to be a formidable leader, just like said he would be.

*The Middle East: President Trump has established close ties with the prime minister of Israel, with the pro-Christian leader of Egypt general el-Sisi, and with King Abdullah II of the pro-American nation of Jordan. Good. The media have acted like Trump could never do anything serious, that he is just a clown. He is not.

*Environment: Trump has withdrawn from of the “climate change” treaties and orders of the Obama years. Fantastic. This phony theory should be tossed on the ash heap of history.

*Terrorism: President Trump has called terrorists “sneaky, dirty rats”, which is what they are. Good. You have to identify your enemies if you want to defeat them. Trump also launched as many airstrikes on terrorists in two days as Obama did in one whole year. The US military recently dropped the ‘Mother of All Bombs’ on terror enclaves in Afghanistan. This bomb was developed 15 years ago and it’s about time we used it. And rest assured that Trump is just warming up. He will defeat terrorism by using the military might that Obama refused to deploy.

*Education: Education secretary Betsy DeVos is focusing on improving education through school choice. Great. Nothing will ever work better. This needs to happen from the top. The liberals and the teacher unions hate school choice.

*Supreme Court: President Trump got his conservative nominee Neil Gorsuch on the Court in record time. The media said that he could never do it. Democrats did everything they could to stop it. They failed.

*Cabinet: President Trump got his entire cabinet in place despite media claims that he could never do it. And it is a very conservative cabinet.

*Illegal immigration: Attorney general Sessions is working hard behind the scenes to punish “sanctuary” cities that protect illegal aliens. The media and Democrats are aghast that Sessions is enforcing existing federal laws.
