Democrats and their media friends ruthlessly attacked president Trump for one remark he made in his response to the Charlottesville incident. Trump obviously was misinterpreted when he tried to appear conciliatory, and there is zero evidence anywhere that he has ever engaged in racist behavior.
In contrast, let us look at the actual record of the Democrat party and we will find it filled with racism and deceit.
First and foremost Democrats and their media cronies today are viciously racist against white people, particularly black Democrats. Every day liberal blacks brazenly attack white people rhetorically, and physically in the streets. The black crime rate against whites is astronomically higher than vice versa.
Universities now have anti-white courses. News stories repeatedly focus on bad white people and good black people. Fawning media coverage of black entertainers, politicians and sports stars abounds. One study showed that 98% of all of the people murdered on violent TV shows are white men. A black college professor recently tweeted that black emergency medical personnel should let white people die, and the professor kept his job.
Worst of all affirmative action is an entrenched government system to deny employment opportunities to anyone who is not black – primarily whites and Asians – even when they are more qualified or vastly more qualified for the jobs than blacks.
The list goes on and on. If Republicans and white people were as openly racist against blacks, there would be major trouble.
Now look at the other side of the story. Democrats and socialists historically have been racist even against blacks and other ‘minorities’. Here are some examples:
*President Andrew Jackson (1829-37), the ‘father’ of the Democrat party, supported slavery, crushed Native Americans militarily and instituted the Trail of Tears policy that forced Native Americans off of their Southern land and marched them west. Adolph Hitler, who was a committed socialist and mass genocidal murderer, planned to use the same tactics in Europe after learning of Jackson’s policy.
*The most vicious hatred of Jews today by far comes out of the universities and left-wing groups that despise Israel and support muslims and Palestinians.
*The Democrat party in America today supports unlimited access to abortion which was a practice supported by eugenicist Margaret Sanger, who was the founder of the modern contraception and abortion movements. Black Americans today have the highest rate of abortions of all. Prolife365 reports that Sanger once wrote:
“We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population. And the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”
Imagine if a Republican said that. Breitbart News reports about Democrat US president Andrew Johnson (1865-69):
Abraham Lincoln chose Andrew Johnson as his running mate in 1864 because Lincoln’s reelection hopes hinged on being able to attract some Democrat voters to his side. Lincoln was a Republican, Johnson a Democrat. The plan worked and Lincoln was reelected. However, following Lincoln’s assassination the oversight of post-Civil War policy for the South fell to Johnson, who believed the South ought to be able to make its own course. During his administration, post-Civil War Democrats enacted the Black Codes in the South, which were precursors to the Jim Crow laws they would implement in the 20th century. The Black Codes served to prevent freed slaves from actually experiencing the fullness of freedom. Johnson is honored with The Andrew Johnson National Historic Site and National Cemetery in Greenville, Tennessee.
*The Republican party was established in 1854 specifically with the goal of ending slavery. That is why the South hated Republicans and why the South was solidly Democrat for more than a century.
*The Democrat party today controls all of black, urban America with an iron grip and without challenge. Millions of African-Americans in these cities are suffering in violence, decay, hopelessness, chaos, corruption and poverty as a result of Democrat policies and failed public schools, with their unionized pro-Democrat staffs.
*The Ku Klux Klan was the military arm of the Democrat party. Here are some excerpts from Wikipedia about the Klan:
The first Klan flourished in the Southern United States in the late 1860s, then died out by the early 1870s. It sought to overthrow the Republican state governments in the South during the Reconstruction Era, especially by using violence against African American leaders.
For example, Confederate veteran John W. Morton founded a chapter in Nashville, Tennessee. As a secret vigilante group, the Klan targeted freedmen and their allies; it sought to restore white supremacy by threats and violence, including murder, against black and white Republicans. In 1870 and 1871, the federal government passed the Enforcement Acts, which were intended to prosecute and suppress Klan crimes
In an 1868 newspaper interview, Nathan Bedford Forrest stated that the Klan’s primary opposition was to the Loyal Leagues, Republican state governments, people such as Tennessee governor William Gannaway Brownlow and other “carpetbaggers” and “scalawags”. He argued that many southerners believed that blacks were voting for the Republican Party because they were being hoodwinked by the Loyal Leagues. One Alabama newspaper editor declared “The League is nothing more than a n**** Ku Klux Klan.”
In January 1871, Pennsylvania Republican Senator John Scott convened a Congressional committee which took testimony from 52 witnesses about Klan atrocities. They accumulated 12 volumes of horrifying testimony.
*Bill Clinton’s political mentor was Democrat US senator J. William Fulbright of Arkansas, one of the leading segregationists of the 20th century. The prestigious Fulbright scholarship program is highly coveted and sought after by students, including very liberal ones. Historyhalf.com reports:
Fulbright was certainly no “ally” of black Americans. Bitterly racist, he fought to protect the Jim Crow laws that denied black citizens their constitutional rights. In 1956 Fulbright was one of ninety-nine congressional Democrats to sign the Southern Manifesto, which declared that the Southern states had a right to keep their populations segregated by race. (It should be mentioned in passing that only two Republicans signed the document.)
In 1964 Fulbright was one of a group of tenacious Democrats who filibustered for fifty-seven days in an attempt to block the Civil Rights Act that outlawed segregation in public accommodations.
Here’s more on Bill Clinton from the New York Daily News in 2010:
Bill Clinton helped sink his wife’s chances for an endorsement (in her presidential primary run in 2008) from Ted Kennedy by belittling Barack Obama as nothing but a race-based candidate.
Clinton told Kennedy, “A few years ago, this guy (Obama) would have been getting us coffee (like a servant)”, according to the gossipy new campaign book, Game Change.
The book says Kennedy was deeply offended and recounted the conversation to friends with fury.
After Kennedy sided with Obama, Clinton reportedly griped, “the only reason you are endorsing him is because he’s black. Let’s just be clear.”
*The Daily Caller reports:
In 1987, when her husband was governor of Arkansas, Bill Clinton signed Act 116 that stated “The blue star above the word “ARKANSAS” is to commemorate the Confederate States of America.”
*The father of Al ‘Global Warming’ Gore was Albert Gore Sr., a Democrat US senator from Tennessee who was one of the leading opponents of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 about which the Washington Post reports:
… it is worth remembering that 80 percent of the “no” votes in the Senate came from Democrats, including the late Robert Byrd (W.Va.) and Albert Gore (Tenn.)… Republican votes, in fact, were essential in winning final passage of the bill.
Southern Democrats then voted 93% against the House version of the Civil Rights Act and 95% against the Senate version. Wikpedia also reports:
The bill divided and engendered a long-term change in the demographic support of both parties. (Democrat) President Lyndon Johnson realized that supporting this (civil rights) bill would risk losing the South’s overwhelming support of the Democratic Party.
*Wikipedia reports about the notorious Jim Crow laws:
Jim Crow laws were state and local laws that enforced racial segregation in the Southern United States . Enacted by white Democratic-dominated state legislatures in the late 19th century after the Reconstruction period, these laws continued to be enforced until 1965.
In 1877, a national Democratic Party compromise to gain Southern support in the presidential election resulted in the government’s withdrawing the last of the federal troops from the South. White Democrats had regained political power in every Southern state. These Southern, white, Democratic Redeemer governments legislated Jim Crow laws, officially segregating black people from the white population.
Breitbart News reports about these Democrats:
President Woodrow Wilson appeared tolerable of blacks and interested in their plight when running for election, but he made little effort to help better the condition of blacks as the 20th century hit its second decade. In fact, in The Warrior and the Priest, John Milton Cooper, Jr., wrote, “Wilson believed blacks were not innately inferior to whites and would, in two or three centuries, achieve a measure of economic and political, if not social, equality in America.” However, Cooper explained that these views had little impact on Wilson’s behavior as president of Princeton, a position he held prior to being President of the United States. At Princeton, Wilson “maintained the university’s long-standing ban on admitting blacks” and as President of the U.S. he “sanctioned” attempts to instill “segregation into federal departments.” Princeton honors Wilson with a college named The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
President Franklin Delano Roosevelt–FDR ordered the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II. In other words, Japanese Americans were rounded up and held in captivity. History.com reports that FDR instituted internment by “[signing] the War Department’s blanket Executive Order 9066” in February 1942. FDR is honored with the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial in Washington DC.
President Lyndon Baines Johnson—MSNBC put it bluntly, “Lyndon Johnson said the [n-word] a lot.” While “discussing civil rights legislation with men like Mississippi Democrat James Eastland, who committed most of his life to defending white supremacy, [LBJ’d] simply call it ‘the [n-word] bill.’” LBJ is honored with the Lyndon Baines Johnson Memorial Grove on the Potomac.
*When Hillary Clinton was elected to the US Senate from New York in 2000, Democrat senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia became her close friend and political mentor. Reports Wikipedia about Byrd:
Robert C. Byrd, a Democrat, was a recruiter for the Klan while in his 20s and 30s, rising to the title of Kleagle and Exalted Cyclops of his local chapter. After leaving the group, Byrd spoke in favor of the Klan during his early political career. Though he claimed to have left the organization in 1943, Byrd wrote a letter in 1946 to the group’s Imperial Wizard stating “The Klan is needed today as never before, and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia.” Byrd attempted to explain or defend his former membership in the Klan in his 1958 U.S. Senate campaign when he was 41 years old. Byrd, a Democrat, eventually became his party leader in the Senate.
Byrd filibustered, and voted against, the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Here are some of the buildings and bridges in West Virginia that should have Byrd’s name removed if civil right activists are serious:
The Robert C. Byrd Expressway and Robert C. Byrd Bridge in Ohio County; Robert C. Byrd Highway (Corridor H); Robert C. Byrd Appalachian Highway System (also Corridor H); Robert C. Byrd Appalachian Highway System (Corridor G/U.S. 119); Robert C. Byrd Bridge in Huntington; Robert C. Byrd Interchange at Birch River; [and the] Robert C. Byrd Appalachian Highway System (Corridor L/I-77)
Here are other high-level Democrat Klan members, according to Wikipedia:
*Clifford Walker, a Democrat and the 64th Governor of Georgia, was revealed to be a Klan member by the press in 1924
*John Gordon Brown, a Democrat and the United States Senator for Georgia, was almost certainly a member of the Klan, possibly the titular head for the state
*John Clinton Porter, a Democrat, was a member of the Klan in the early 1920s, but he was no longer a member when he was elected mayor of Los Angeles in 1928
*George Gordon, a Democrat and Congressman for Tennessee’s 10th congressional district, became one of the Klan’s first members. In 1867, Gordon became the Klan’s first Grand Dragon for the Realm of Tennessee, and wrote its Precept, a book describing its organization, purpose, and principles
*Bibb Graves, a Democrat, who was the 38th Governor of Alabama. He lost his first campaign for governor in 1922, but four years later, with the secret endorsement of the Ku Klux Klan, he was elected to his first term as governor. Graves was almost certainly the Exalted Cyclops (chapter president) of the Montgomery chapter of the Klan. Graves, like Hugo Black, used the strength of the Klan to further his electoral prospects
*Theodore G. Bilbo, a Democrat and United States Senator from Mississippi, hinted at his possible membership in the Ku Klux Klan in an interview on the radio program Meet the Press. He said, “No man can leave the Klan. He takes an oath not to do that. Once a Ku Klux, always a Ku Klux.
*In 1921, Hugo Black successfully defended E. R. Stephenson in his trial for the murder of a Catholic priest, Fr. James E. Coyle. Black, a Democrat, joined the Ku Klux Klan shortly afterwards, in order to gain votes from the anti-Catholic element in Alabama. He built his winning Senate campaign around multiple appearances at KKK meetings across Alabama. (Note: Black rose to the US Supreme Court from 1937 to 1971.)
*Benjamin F. Stapleton a Democrat, was mayor of Denver in the 1920s–1940s. He was a Klan member in the early 1920s and appointed fellow Klansmen to positions in municipal government.
*Harry S. Truman, the Democratic politician who became US president in 1945, was accused by opponents of having dabbled with the Klan briefly. In 1924, he was a judge in Jackson County, Missouri. Truman was up for reelection, and his friends Edgar Hinde and Spencer Salisbury advised him to join the Klan. The Klan was politically powerful in Jackson County, and two of Truman’s opponents in the Democratic primary had Klan support. Truman refused at first, but paid the Klan’s $10 membership fee, and a meeting with a Klan officer was arranged.
