Failed President George W. Bush Lashes Out at Trump used to like George W. Bush, but I now think that he was a failure. He and his advisors should have known about the potential for mass disruption in Iraq by terrorists. And about the futility of the war in Afghanistan, also started by Bush.

Bush also left the Mexican border open and wanted amnesty for illegals, while he gave us a massive new Medicare program. Bushy stood by while millions of US jobs fled overseas.

In short, he is a true Establishment Republican and Washington Swamper. Thank God that his brother was not elected.

On October 19 George W. Bush gave a speech slamming president Trump and his supporters but without naming them. This comes after Bush declined to ever criticize Obama and even has made buddy-buddy with Obama and with Bill Clinton.

Bush is doing this since he hates Trump for defeating his brother in the Republican primaries, and since Bush’s own presidency has been deemed a failure. So now Bushy wants to be liked by the media for slamming Trump. This is also what McCain is doing.

Below are excerpts from Bush’s speech where he sounds just like a Democrat. Each Bush excerpt is followed by a comment:

Bush said: It’s amazing to have Secretary Albright share the stage with Condi and Ambassador Haley. comment: Madeleine Albright was a disaster. As Clinton’s secretary of state she left the world in a dangerous state, leading to 9/11. She even went to North Korea and acted like a giddy schoolgirl in front of the genocidal dictator. It’s a famous story.

Condi (Condoleezza Rice) was Bush’s national security adviser and secretary of state. She is an academic egghead who knows nothing. She is one of the people who urged Bush to go into Iraq without considering the possible disaster there.

Bush said: We are gathered in the cause of liberty this is a unique moment. The great democracies face new and serious threats – yet seem to be losing confidence in their own calling and competence. Economic, political and national security challenges proliferate, and they are made worse by the tendency to turn inward. comment: “Turn inward” means “America First”, i.e., Trump. So it took Bushy six sentences to start bashing Trump after he said nothing to criticize Obama over eight full years. This is why Jeb Bush lost. Americans don’t want any more of this Establishment crap. They want action to solve the nation’s problems.

Bush said: We know that free governments are the only way to ensure that the strong are just and the weak are valued. And we know that when we lose sight of our ideals, it is not democracy that has failed. It is the failure of those charged with preserving and protecting democracy. comment: ‘The failure of those charged with preserving and protecting democracy’ includes Bush and his war in Iraq which threw the entire Middle East into the flames.

Bush said: There is the frightening, evolving threat of nuclear proliferation and outlaw regimes. comment: So why didn’t Bush ever criticize Obama and Clinton for their roles in arming Iran and North Korea with nukes? Or criticize Bill Clinton for allowing communist China to get missile guidance technologies made by Clinton donor Bernard Schwartz?

Bush said: These matters would be difficult under any circumstances. They are further complicated by a trend in western countries away from global engagement and democratic confidence. Parts of Europe have developed an identity crisis. We have seen insolvency, economic stagnation, youth unemployment, anger about immigration, resurgent ethno-nationalism, and deep questions about the meaning and durability of the European Union. comment: Economic stagnation, anger about immigration and resurgent ethno-nationalism are all a result of gross mismanagement by socialist governments. But for some reason Bushy won’t say this out loud. Why not, George? Oh, I forgot. You are sucking up to CNN to try and salvage your pathetic legacy of more than 6,000 US troops killed in Bush wars. God bless our military.

Bush said: We have seen our discourse degraded by casual cruelty. At times, it can seem like the forces pulling us apart are stronger than the forces binding us together. Argument turns too easily into animosity. Disagreement escalates into dehumanization. Too often, we judge other groups by their worst examples while judging ourselves by our best intentions – forgetting the image of God we should see in each other. comment: Here is a translation of those sentences: “Trump is provoking hatred.” Unfortunately Bushy doesn’t mention the hatred and division ginned up by Obama, by the blacks, by the Democrats, by the media, by Hillary Clinton, by Black Lives Matter and by antifa thugs.

Bush said: We’ve seen nationalism distorted into nativism – forgotten the dynamism that immigration has always brought to America. comment: No, Bushy, we Trump supporters are all in favor of immigration. LEGAL immigration.

Bush said: We have seen the return of isolationist sentiments – forgetting that American security is directly threatened by the chaos and despair of distant places, where threats such as terrorism, infectious disease, criminal gangs and drug trafficking tend to emerge. comment: Terrorism, infectious disease, criminal gangs and drug trafficking all have been made vastly worse by the open Mexican border that Bush ignored. He even wanted amnesty.

Bush said: The recommendations come in broad categories. Here they are: First, America must harden its own defenses. Our country must show resolve and resilience in the face of external attacks on our democracy. comment: Our military was depleted by Bush wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The $3 trillion that he wasted on those wars could have gone for a lot of weaponry and preparedness. Instead they turned America away from the military and cost the Republican party dearly.

Bush said: America is experiencing the sustained attempt by a hostile power to feed and exploit our country’s divisions. According to our intelligence services, the Russian government has made a project of turning Americans against each other. This effort is broad, systematic and stealthy, it’s conducted across a range of social media platforms. comment: This is yet another attempt to make it sound like Trump colluded with Russia. Sorry, Bushy, you should read about the Clinton uranium collusion with Russia, and the massive payoffs involved. But since the Clintons are now Bush friends, we might wonder: Is Bush getting paid off too?

Bush said: This means that people of every race, religion, and ethnicity can be fully and equally American. It means that bigotry or white supremacy in any form is blasphemy against the American creed. comment: Another slap at white people who stand up for themselves against a tidal wave of illegal immigrants and black criminals. Screw you, Bush.

Bush said: And it means that the very identity of our nation depends on the passing of civic ideals to the next generation. We need a renewed emphasis on civic learning in schools. And our young people need positive role models. comment: Notice that Bush does not mention the terrible public schools that have abandoned the teaching of civics. Oh, no. CNN would not like that.

Bush said: For example, our democracy needs a media that is transparent, accurate and fair. Our democracy needs religious institutions that demonstrate integrity and champion civil discourse. Our democracy needs institutions of higher learning that are examples of truth and free expression. comment: Like a real Swamper Bush never names names. That’s what we love about Trump. He is not afraid to say exactly what he is talking about. That is why Trump is going to be re-elected in 2020.
