Trump Respects US Military, Unlike Obama and Democrats

The fake controversy that has broken out over president Trump’s phone call to a military widow has once again demonstrated that Democrats are manipulative, opportunistic and hard-hearted people when it comes to military affairs.

A shameless black Democrat congresswoman from Florida has expressed tremendous pleasure with herself that she has become nationally famous for exploiting the death of Green Beret Sgt. La David Johnson who was killed on a special operation in Africa. She claimed that president Trump was disrespectful to the widow, which focused national attention on the congresswoman.

The congresswoman has referred to herself as a “rock star” since the controversy emerged. She was literally giddy about her newfound fame and laughed about it.

How much worse can Democrats get?

Not much, but they will find a way. They always do.

President Trump did not have to call Sgt. Johnson’s widow. It is not required of presidents, but Trump did it out of a sense of duty since Trump respects our military.

Obama, on the other hand, did not call even a high-ranking member of his own administration, general John Kelly, when Kelly’s son, Marine 1st lieutenant Robert Kelly, was killed in Afghanistan in 2010. General Kelly is the highest ranking military officer to lose a son in the Iraq or Afghan conflicts.

Kelly is now Trump’s White House chief of staff and Kelly himself offered the president advice over what to say in the call to Mrs. Johnson.

President Trump made the call, difficult as it was, but his words have been twisted to sound like he was disrespectful.

We know that that is false, that Trump is extremely respectful of the military. But this is how the Democrats can take a positive and spin it into a negative. This is what they have done every day since Trump took office.

The reprehensible black congresswoman, who now is being referred to as “a rodeo clown” for her weird outfits, will have her 15 minutes of fame and then will disappear into the anonymity that she deserves. But she has not only created a controversy but put herself at the center of it by horning in on one of the most sacred moments that a soldier’s widow could ever have – a personal phone call from the Commander in Chief.

This is what we get from most black American politicians today – confrontation, self-aggrandizement, opportunism, narcissism, selfishness and arrogance.

By the way, here are some statistics from The Gateway Pundit website about this congresswoman’s Florida district, which is just north of Miami:

Florida congressional district 24 is ranked 425th out of 435 districts in America on the “state of American well-being” survey.

The congresswoman’s district is ranked 408th out of 435 districts for poverty.

The employment rate in the district is 54% — well below the national average.

About one in four adults in the district do not have a high school education.

This congresswoman also hired the notorious Pakistan-born Awan brothers to do computer work for her. They are currently being investigated for major crimes involving classified information.

But this congresswoman sure does have time to rail against president Trump and then happily claim that she has become newly famous. This is utterly scandalous.

Democrats have no heart and no soul when it comes to our military. Obama had many ways to disrespect the military, most crucially by “throwing away” the US victory in Iraq by withdrawing our troops too early even after he was warned repeatedly about the withdrawal.

Obama has been disrespectful in other ways. Who could forget the time he saluted with a cup of coffee in his saluting hand. Or the time Obama did not salute the soldier attending the Marine One helicopter as tradition demands.

One of the worst cases was when Obama held a press conference to announce the Fort Hood terrorist attack but delayed talking about the attack for two minutes while he talked about a Department of Interior conference. This seemed designed to intentionally disrespect the military.

Another issue that showed Obama’s disrespect came in the Bowe Bergdahl case.

Bergdahl is the US Army private first class who walked off his remote post in Afghanistan in 2009 and was captured and held by the taliban for 5 years. Six US military personnel, and three British died searching for Bergdahl.

When Bergdahl was freed in 2014 Obama released five top terrorists held at the Guantanamo Bay jail as part of an exchange even though it was believed at the time that Bergdahl had intentionally abandoned his post and therefore was a deserter.

Bergdahl now has pleaded guilty to desertion and was sentenced to life in prison but that didn’t stop Obama national security adviser Susan Rice from saying at the time of his release that Bergdahl “served with honor and distinction” and that Bergdahl “was an American prisoner of war captured on the battlefield.”

When a reporter asked Obama State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki if her administration would call Bergdahl a deserter, she replied: “We would characterize him as a member of the military who was detained while in combat.”

These are all stunning examples of treachery. Yet these comments and actions were never considered controversial by the Obama-loving media.

After Bergdahl was released Obama showed up in the White House Rose Garden with Bergdahl’s parents. Bergdahl’s father is a muslim-lover. Sporting a taliban-style beard, the father said quoting the Koran, “Bismillah al-rahman al-rahim,” which means “in the name of Allah the most gracious, the most merciful.”

As if this was not insulting enough, Obama then told Bergdahl’s parents

“today families across America share in the joy that I know you feel. As a parent, I can’t imagine the hardship that you… have gone through. As president, I know that I speak for all Americans when I say we cannot wait for the moment when you are reunited and your son, Bowe, is back in your arms.”

Never mind that six US troops died looking for Bergdahl and will never be back in their parents’ arms.

Obama even referred to the “ironclad commitment to bring our prisoners of war home. That’s who we are as Americans. It’s a profound obligation within our military, and today, at least in this instance, it’s a promise we’ve been able to keep.”

Stunning and shocking. But what else can we expect from any anti-military Democrat in America today, particularly a radical like Obama.

Now that Bergdahl has pled guilty to desertion the United States needs to get back those taliban commanders who were released in “exchange”. They are reported to still be living in Qatar. Obama even broke a law requiring congressional notification of such an exchange.
