Black America is permanently, perpetually and irreversibly discontented and angry. Michelle Obama is a perfect example. She was given free scholarships to two top universities and finally ushered into the White House in a silver carriage, but she’s still mad. Word is that she is very unhappy in her first lady role.
Poor Michelle. But what else can you expect. She’s female, she is black and she is liberal. And the third part is the real key. Because liberals teach all people to be unhappy and angry. Democrats have turned black America into a perpetually indignant race of people even when they make billions like Oprah Winfrey has. Or even when they go the White House.
Blacks were not this way before the ‘civil rights’ movement. Most blacks until the 1960s were Republicans because Republicans freed the slaves. Martin Luther King was a Republican. And they were a completely different type of people; much more humble, honest and law-abiding.
If you know about black America in, say, the 1930s, there certainly was a lack of rights, but there also were cohesive families and businesses and churches and morality and stable communities that compensated. Because they had not been undermined by liberalism.
Then look at the horrible state of much of black America today under the iron grip of the Democrats – dissolution, mayhem, murder, crime, illegitimacy, God-lessness, violence and immorality. King would be ashamed.
Now look at the Martin Luther King memorial on the Mall in Washington which was dedicated October 16, 2011. Blacks fought for decades to get it and now they are totally unhappy with it.
Yes. Of course. Why not. Indeed black America is already in a snit about four separate issues in the statue of King – about King’s pose; about some words engraved on the monument; about the color of the statue; and even about the shape of King’s eyes.
Washingtonpost.com recently wrote an editorial about the first two issues saying:
‘One of the earliest objections was to King’s pose: The civil rights leader stands arms crossed, looking impatient, indignant, glowering. Critics called it a confrontational stance, too angry and menacing for a man of peaceful resistance. … The Interior Department has yet to conclude its deliberations over whether and how to change the words carved over King’s left shoulder… the poet Maya Angelou, who said the misquote made King sound like “an arrogant twit” and Martin Luther King III… said, “That’s not what Dad said.”'
So within just a few weeks of the statue’s dedication, they were already arguing and pointing fingers. Business as usual in contemporary black America.
Which leaves the rest of us wondering: Who supervised this whole deal? Why don’t they tell us who that person is and ask him or her what went wrong? What did they do – phone it in? Why was nobody watching over the details?
No, it is simple – the 'leaders' of black America today are incompetent Democrats who cannot even commission a statue. They are too busy stuffing their bank accounts with taxpayer money to pay attention.
What else are they upset about besides the pose and the quotation?
Well, the King statue is… white. Yes some in the PI (Perpetually Indignant) black community are whining that the white granite somehow is racist.
Wow! How could a sculptor have made that granite white? This must be a Klan conspiracy!
Yeah, right… Like everything else in black America – a big conspiracy. These people are embarrassingly stupid. Why didn’t they insist from the start that the granite be darker in color?
Answer: Because liberals never truly think sensibly or think ahead about anything. Everything they do comes from an angry script and is an emotional reaction. Then when their plans turn out wrong because they ignored all the crucial details – which they always do – they get angrier.
They also are complaining that King’s eyes look ‘Asian’. And that is no surprise. Because they contracted out the sculpture to a Chinese artist who imprinted himself on his subject. Indeed the eyes do look Asian.
Why didn’t they commission a black American to make the sculpture? Or at least an American so they could have kept an eye on its progress? And how are these black leaders going to fob all these problems off on the rest of us like they usually do?
No, they will dance around the Big Question which is: Why couldn’t all these brilliant bigwigs even commission one single sculpture of their most significant leader without completely screwing it up?
It is because they are incompetents who don’t even know how to do a simple thing. That’s why our economy is in crisis – because these same people have screwed it all up when rational people could have had jobs and prosperity for us all.
Who knows what other grievances they will come up with. Give Maxine Waters five minutes and she will have ten more grievances about the sculpture… (“It looks like Donald Trump! And the Tea Party can go straight to hell…!!”)
No, somehow they will blame it on the rest of us as they do with all the crises in black America. And this sculpture fiasco shows just how wrong and ignorant these people are along with all Democrats and liberals in America of every race and gender.
Indeed think about America being one big King statue. The liberals talk about it for years.
They have every plan laid out. They impose their agenda. They picture it ideally in their minds. They are obsessed with its grandiosity. Then when the results come in, it is a total failure.
Then they all start complaining!
The Democrats have given us the upside-down and inside-out America that is falling by the wayside. Simple things like power plants become subjects of endless debate. Our tax system is a nightmare. Housing loans by the trillions are given to people without any of the discipline of owning a house. And now our economy looks like the King statue – everything is wrong.
And then look at black America in general. Oh, woah is me! Black America is in crisis!
Absolutely. And who controls black America lock, stock and barrel?
It’s the same politicians who cannot even commission a simple statue of their most revered leader.
What a joke these people are…
