GOP Gov Warns of ‘Blue Wave’/ More “Tarmac Meeting” Cover-Up

(This is multi-part commentary covering a variety of issues.)

Insider.foxnews.com reports:

Gov. Scott Walker (R-Wis.) said Monday that the (Wisconsin) Supreme Court election victory of a liberal judge in his state is a “true wake-up call” for Republicans, and he warned of a potential “blue wave” that could come in November’s midterms.

Rebecca Dallet defeated Circuit Court Judge Michael Screnock last Tuesday for a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the first time a liberal won a race for an open seat on the court since 1995.

Walker published a series of tweets about … Dallet’s victory, saying “big government special interests … [will] target me and work to undo our bold reforms.”

This is all true and it should cause concern among conservatives but it is important to remember some salient facts:

*Wisconsin was considered a liberal state for many decades. The election in 2010 and re-election in 2014 of tough Republican governor Walker has changed Wisconsin significantly. Even conservative Republican US senator Ron Johnson was re-elected in 2016 when he was expected to lose. Wisconsin voted for Trump in 2016, the first time since 1984 that the state supported a Republican for president in the Electoral College.

So a liberal victory is not all that unprecedented in the overall scheme of things particularly considering that president Trump won the White House, while we all know that the party out of the White House usually gains power in the first two years thereafter.

*This Wisconsin Supreme Court election was not a routine November election. It was a “special” election held in April with a very low turnout, around 20%. Democrats can win such an election by energizing small but crucial numbers of their voters to show up at the polls. Republicans must be wary of this and get their voters out.

*Nonetheless Nikitas3.com predicts that Republicans will hold the US House and increase their seats in the US Senate to 56 to 60 seats in the November 2018 elections, that these low-turnout ‘special’ elections do not represent the real mood of the nation.

*With president Trump’s approval ratings at 50% and more in the most accurate poll of all – the Rasmussen poll – things look vastly better for the GOP than the media will let on. Trump’s 50% is higher than Obama’s approval at the same point in his presidency.

*The same Fake News media that are predicting a ‘blue wave’ in 2018 also predicted that Hillary Clinton was the sure winner of the 2016 election.

Governor Walker, who ran for president in 2016 but dropped out early, tweeted:

Tonight’s (Dallet victory shows) we are at risk of a #BlueWave in WI. The Far Left is driven by anger & hatred — we must counter it with optimism & organization. Let’s share our positive story with voters & win in November.

He is correct. Democrats are always driven by anger, hatred and emotion. That is how they are being so successful in tearing down president Trump and his supporters.

Walker’s success story is a classic. He was elected in 2010 after 8 years of a corrupt Democrat governor. Wisconsinites were very pessimistic about their state until Walker implemented strong reforms in 2011 that brought the crippled Wisconsin economy back to life. Walker was not only re-elected easily in 2014 but he survived a bitter 2012 recall election with a very comfortable margin.

To add to the good news Foxconn, the Taiwanese electronics company, is going to create 13,000 manufacturing jobs in Wisconsin thanks specifically to Walker and to president Trump’s combined efforts. Walker also tweeted:

Wisconsin is working with RECORD-LOW unemployment thanks to our reforms, but the risk of a #BlueWave puts everything in jeopardy – balanced budgets, collective bargaining reforms, $8B in tax cuts, welfare reform & more.

Good news. Wisconsinites must appreciate what Walker has done for them, and Americans must appreciate what Trump is doing. But Democrats want to go back to the Bad Old Days when they had power. As usual.

Loretta Lynch Continues ‘Tarmac Meeting’ Cover-up

Fox News reports:

Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch claims she and former President Bill Clinton spoke of only “innocuous things” during their controversial meeting on a tarmac in Arizona just days before the FBI decided it would not recommend criminal charges against Hillary Clinton for her handling of classified information on her private email server in 2016.

During an exclusive interview to air on NBC Monday evening, Lynch addressed her “chance encounter” with Clinton on her plane in July 2016 in Phoenix, telling NBC that the meeting was purely social.
Lynch said she and Clinton only discussed “innocuous things” during their meeting, and insisted that they did not discuss Hillary Clinton, who, at the time, was being investigated by the Justice Department and the FBI over her use of a private email sever during her tenure as secretary of state.

Lynch told NBC that the former president just told a “long but charming story” about his grandchildren, noting that the two also discussed “issues of the day,” such as Brexit.

Nonsense. This was no “chance encounter”. There was no “long but charming story”. This meeting happened in the Summer when Bill Clinton claimed that he was in Arizona playing golf and when he just happened to discover that Lynch’s jet was in the same area at the Phoenix airport when both jets were preparing to take off.

And so Clinton allegedly went over to her at a remote part of the air field and they had a private meeting inside her jet where they talked about “innocuous things” like his grandchildren, according to Lynch.

Baloney… Do you believe that Bill Clinton went to Arizona to play golf in blazing 115 degree desert heat? Nikitas3.com does not believe that for a second.

Nikitas3.com believes that Bill Clinton was in Phoenix for a specific reason – to talk to Lynch about the investigation of Hillary in an out-of-the-way place where they would not be detected. The ‘tarmac meeting’ was supposed to be secret but it was exposed by a Phoenix news reporter.

It gets worse. FBI’s exoneration of Hillary over her emails was announced one week after this meeting. This all looks extremely suspicious.

These Democrats are getting away with every kind of illegality and nothing is being done about it. This is a travesty of the first order. We need a special counsel to investigate this ‘tarmac’ meeting along with other Clinton malfeasance like the Clinton Foundation, Hillary’s emails, Uranium One, etc.

Loony LA ‘Greens’ Paint Streets to Fight Summer Heat

Fox News reports:

California officials are hoping their latest attempt to stem the rising tides of climate change leads to a more socially conscious — and cooler — summer.

Officials in Los Angeles have been painting streets white to reduce the effect of urban “heat islands” and combat the effects of climate change.

The LA Street Services began rolling out the project last, which preliminary testing shows has reduced the temperature of roadways by up to 10 degrees. The project involves applying a light gray coating of the product CoolSeal, made by the company GuardTop.

By reducing the temperature of the city streets, officials say it can help reduce temperatures in the neighborhoods where the sealant is applied.

With its numerous streets and freeways, Los Angeles suffers from the “heat island” effect, which causes urban regions to become warmer than their rural surroundings, forming an “island” of higher temperatures.

OK, so here we go again with more ‘green’ lunacy. Liberals love to tell us how wonderful urban living is, in cities where ironically the most dedicated “environmentalists” choose to live in man-made places surrounded by concrete, steel, asphalt and glass.

But there are many drawbacks to urban living like pollution, Summer heat, crime, crowding, high costs, etc. And so they propose to remedy the heat by painting the streets.

This will turn out to be yet another boondoggle and massively expensive at $40,000 per mile while each coating only is reported to last 7 years. And no doubt ‘greenies’ will get all of the lucrative contracts to paint the streets, i.e., corruption.

This is classic environmentalism. The ‘greenies’ identify a “problem” and then propose a very expensive and dubious solution requiring large amounts of government spending.

Notice from Nikitas3.com to ‘greenies’: Leave the streets alone. If you are worried about environmental problems then start by cutting your own energy use, including air conditioning. That does not cost a dime. In fact it saves money and energy.

France Goes to Extremes to Defend Lawless Migrants

Chris Tomlinson at Breitbart News reports:

A trio of French soldiers on leave was arrested and face prosecution after they intervened to help a woman who was being robbed by a youth on the streets of Paris.

The soldiers, who were said to have been drinking at the time, came across a woman in distress as she was being robbed of her mobile phone in Paris’s Saint-Ambroise metro station early Sunday morning, Le Parisien reports.

The men, aged between 21 and 24, ran after the thief and caught up to him near the Boulevard Voltaire in the 11th arrondissement and confronted him. A source close to the investigation said the men attempted to retrieve the woman’s property but were met with resistance from the young man and a fight ensued.

In the scuffle, the teen, who was found without any identification papers or an address, had one of his teeth chipped by one of the soldiers.

Following an investigation by the Railway Network Squad (BRF), the three soldiers and the youth were arrested. “At the public prosecutor’s office, they did not agree on what to do,” a source close to the investigation said and added: “Some wanted to give them up to the military. Finally, a prosecutor’s assistant decided to prosecute the soldiers.”

Yes, they arrested the soldiers. This is crazy. But hey, vive la liberal France!

Homeless Take Over Another Wealthy Liberal City

Big homeless camps are springing up all over California cities. This now is spreading. Look at this from The Weekly Standard about Seattle, Washington:

Heroin is an unusually dangerous drug—wickedly addictive and far more lethal to its abusers than cocaine or alcohol. But Licton Springs Village, a microcommunity of 30 tiny houses and a couple of large dormitory tents—one that is officially sanctioned by the City of Seattle—takes a permissive view of drug abuse.

It’s a “low-barrier” community, meaning that people can use drugs freely here. Most homeless shelters and encampments demand residents live drug and alcohol free. But here, clean needles are distributed to the residents to prevent the spread of disease, and Narcan is available to resuscitate people who overdose.

Open since April 2017, on a formerly vacant lot squeezed between fast-food joints and low-budget motels, Licton Springs Village is home to nearly 70 homeless people who were “sleeping rough” until they moved in. The residents include several married couples who live together in simple, tiny homes—basically, wooden boxes 12 feet by 8 feet—donated by local groups. Children aren’t allowed because of the open drug use. The village is operated by local nonprofit SHARE/WHEEL, and the on-the-ground support staff are all formerly homeless themselves. Conditions are makeshift: There’s a shower, but the toilets are all of the port-a-potty variety; there are no individual kitchens, but residents are eligible to eat once each day in the communal dining area.

Licton Springs Village, unique in many ways, exists to address a common and once again growing problem: American homelessness. The problem is particularly acute on the West Coast. Here in Seattle, the homeless population skyrocketed by 44 percent between 2015 and the end of 2017, mirroring the experience of other Pacific coast cities, notably those in the Bay Area, which is also experiencing a homelessness crisis of mammoth proportions. King County, home of Seattle, now boasts the third-largest homeless population in the country.

We know that Seattle and Portland, Oregon and California are all extremely liberal places and that homelessness is surging in all three.

Shouldn’t homelessness be solved by liberalism?

Yes, in theory, if liberal programs worked like they are supposed to instead of producing the opposite effect.

Notice that the numbers spiked at the end of Obama’s second term after years of destructive economic policies. This is to be expected.

Also notice that many of these people are involved with illegal drugs after decades in which liberals have advocated illegal drug use as “fun” while conservatives have spoken out vociferously against it. The Weekly Standard continued:

Tents abound, even downtown. It’s hard to find a bridge that doesn’t have people sleeping under it. Because of the growing number of people sleeping in cars, city leaders are moving to scuttle long-established parking restrictions.

The growth in the homeless population comes from all kinds of people experiencing homelessness; not just the chronically homeless, who are usually severely mentally ill, but also people who not that long ago were gainfully employed and had fixed accommodations.

This is suddenly a big story now that president Trump is in office. Under Obama we did not hear a media peep about homelessness for 8 full years. Now it is a big crisis according to the media. No surprise there.

… For years, as Seattle’s homeless population grew, unsanctioned tent cities began to pop up. In a way, they demonstrated man’s impressive capacity to impose order. They were self-governing, and many did not allow drug or alcohol users. The local governments often assigned residents important tasks, like working security.

So as liberals accommodate homelessness you are going to get more homeless. No question about it. The homeless go where they are well treated. Fox News reports:

Residents of the mega tent “mansion” homeless encampment near Seattle’s famed Space Needle are bragging about the practicality of their new digs, taunting local politicians: “If you can live on the street and not pay rent, then why would you pay rent?”

The recently constructed camp is located on a small patch of grass on Third Avenue and Broad Street, about a half-block from the Space Needle and surrounded by multi-million dollar high-rise condos.

“It is a form of protest,” Melissa Burns, one of the “mansion” dwellers, told Q13 News. “We’re staking a claim. We’re refusing to cower in our tents.”

Homeless people, the mentally ill, alcoholics and drug abusers become bold when their masters are far-left Democrats. They know that they eventually will win since they will feed on the guilty consciences of liberals.
