Andrew Cuomo is the 60-year-old extremely liberal Democrat governor of New York state. He was first elected in November 2010 and re-elected in 2014. He is easily the most arrogant left-wing demagogue in America. He has a way of preaching his point of view, speaking very slowly in simple language as if New Yorkers are all his stupid children – of which millions of them are.
Cuomo has been expected to be a major Democrat contender in 2020 for president of the United States. But Nikitas3.com believes that Cuomo significantly damaged his aspiration to become president on August 15, 2018. Nikitas3.com also predicts that Cuomo will lose his gubernatorial re-election coming up in November.
What did he do that was so bad on August 15?
He said 13 words in a speech that will resonate for many years in the America political lexicon. He said, “We’re not going to make America great again. It was never that great.”
Yes, you heard it right. And anyone who knows anything about politics knows that Cuomo has harmed himself badly no matter how much he tries to walk back that statement.
New York Republicans bought Cuomo a bus ticket to Canada after the comment. Genius!
Cuomo came to say this because he is a spoiled political brat who has a colossal sense of self-righteous importance. He was born into an important New York state political family. His father Mario was governor. His brother Chris is an anchor at CNN. His family is coddled by the media. As the old saying goes, “Andrew Cuomo was born on third base and thought that he had hit a triple.”
He is popular only because he is a generous Welfare State Democrat in a corrupt welfare empire called New York. He was expected to win re-election in November simply because he is a Democrat who preaches to his choir.
But Nikitas3.com conjectured even before the August 15 quote that Cuomo’s Republican opponent Marc Molinaro could win since New York state has performed disastrously under Cuomo and Obama, placing at or near the bottom of the list in some economic metrics.
Nikitas3.com now believes that Molinaro will win this election if he uses fierce Trump-like tactics to take down Cuomo. And Molinaro will win not just because of Cuomo’s statement; he will win because this statement comes on top of years of statewide disgust with Cuomo’s corrupt and incompetent tenure that has been overlooked simply because he has sweet-talked New Yorkers with his rhetoric.
How corrupt? Well, Cuomo’s own top aide was convicted of corruption in 2017. A former governor and former attorney general, both Democrats, resigned in sex scandals. Democrat assembly speaker Sheldon Silver will do 7 years in prison for a $4 million bribery scheme. Several known statewide figures close to Cuomo are under investigation for corruption over the so-called Buffalo Billion plan. Meanwhile everyone knows that the mafia and the Democrat party are blood brothers and that thousands of cases of corruption are never uncovered. The list goes on and on.
Marc Molinaro, on the other hand, comes from humble roots, from a relatively poor family but was elected to his town council at the age of 18. He now is the Dutchess County executive. He is 42 years old and seems like a genuine nice guy.
It is being reported that hundreds of thousands of jobs and 1 million residents have fled New York state since Cuomo took office. These are people with the wherewithal to flee – generally younger, skilled and educated and with financial resources. This leaves behind an older, poorer and sicker population, perfect fodder for Cuomo’s socialist demagoguery where he can lecture an increasingly disengaged and bewildered population without scrutiny or pushback.
It is no surprise that they are fleeing Cuomo’s New York. Outside of the wealthy enclaves in New York City the state has a dismal economy with an 8.25% statewide sales tax that hits every citizen in the gut, including the poor. On the other end of the spectrum New York taxes the wealthy and everyone else at some of the highest rates in the nation. In return citizens get widespread corruption and lousy, costly government. Many simply pack up and go.
New York’s rural, white Upstate population has been suffering for decades under Democrat rule, with a weak Republican party in opposition. That suffering intensified under Cuomo although things are now improving under Trump.
Cuomo and New York Democrats and their environmental cronies have blocked dozens of rural development projects from a brand-new state-of-the-art cement production plant at Hudson to ‘fracking’ for natural gas. This gas is a multi-billion-dollar gold mine underlaying the so-called Southern Tier of rural New York state that could be contributing mightily to help out the struggling people there. Instead we get crickets.
Even as the New York economy has withered Cuomo has made five trips in the last year to ostensibly show support for the people of hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico. Nikitas3.com believes that Cuomo is really having a sexual affair with the left-wing mayor of the capital city of San Juan, a Trump-hating honeypot named Carmen Yulin Cruz. That would explain all of the visits.
Recently New York state paroled a 70-year-old cop killer named Herman Bell. Cuomo has pardoned more than 24,000 criminals who have been released from prison after serving their time. He did this to return their voting rights to them (i.e., mostly Democrat votes) without approval from the state legislature. These criminals include Herman Bell.
So all added up you can see why New Yorkers may very well be at the end of the rope with Andrew Cuomo. And that his August 15 comment will simply be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
Cuomo has become yet another victim of Trump Derangement Syndrome. We know that he was lashing out at president Trump when he said that “(America) was never that great”, referring to the Trump campaign slogan ‘Make America Great Again’. If he should survive re-election and the 2020 Democrat primaries (where the comment will play a major role) and become the Democrat nominee, Trump would take him down ruthlessly over that single comment and crush him in the general election.
So it is delicious to watch Cuomo trip and fall on his face. He will not be able to walk this one back; he cannot ‘un-say’ it. Marc Molinaro must slam Cuomo every day over this comment and over everything else that is wrong with New York state. If Molinaro takes a cue from president Trump and goes hard on Cuomo, he will win. If he wimps out like an Establishment Republican then he will lose.
Cuomo has shown brazen arrogance throughout his career which includes a stint as HUD secretary under Bill Clinton. Here is what Cuomo said in 2014 about “extreme conservatives” (by which he really meant all conservatives):
“Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and if they are the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are.”
All added up, Nikitas3.com predicts that Andrew Cuomo will not be re-elected governor. Watch for this major upset in November, like Trump beating Hillary. Nobody is predicting it… except Nikitas3.com.
Bleeding Heart Liberals Murdered by ISIS
The Gateway Pundit reports:
A young American couple quit their jobs to bike across central Asia.
The couple, Jay Austin and Lauren Geoghegan, were posting about their adventures online. Jay wrote that “evil is a make-believe concept” in one of his last posts. The couple wanted to share their openheartedness with all of the people they met on their journey.
In Tajikistan they were murdered by ISIS. Both cyclists were found with several knife wounds. ISIS posted a photo after killing the American liberals.
So there you go. Conservative common sense wins again, i.e., terrorists are really dangerous people!
