First, congratulations to president Trump on yet another foreign policy victory. Fox News reported:
Freed American pastor Andrew Brunson met and prayed with President Trump in the Oval Office Saturday, thanking him for having “really fought for us” — a day after his release from house arrest in Turkey.
Brunson, from North Carolina, arrived in the U.S. earlier Saturday after stopping in Germany on Friday. Brunson was imprisoned in October 2016 due to his alleged ties to an outlawed group as part of a crackdown on a failed coup in Turkey against President Recep Erdogan’s government. A Turkish judge on Friday ordered him freed from house arrest on Friday after sentencing him to time served on terror and treason charges.
Brunson thanked Trump in the Oval Office, saying “you really fought for us, unusually so, from the time you took office.” He also thanked members of Congress on both sides of the aisle who had worked for his release.
“We’re so grateful to so many people in Congress who stood with us, who prayed for us, who fought for us,” he said.
In a dramatic moment, Brunson knelt down and prayed with the President — asking God for “supernatural wisdom to accomplish all the plans you have for this country and for him.”
This is yet another accomplishment for president Trump whom Nikitas3.com considers to be the most pro-Christian president of the last century and the most effective American leader since Ronald Reagan, another conservative.
US prisoners are being released all over the world because the world knows that Trump is a tough man who means business, but who is also a fair man. Fox News even reported:
Trump, who had thanked Turkish President Erdogan “for his help” earlier in the day, expressed hope that Brunson’s release would mark the start of better relations between the two countries. Trump said on Twitter that while there was “great appreciation” and a hope of good relations between the U.S. and Turkey, but there was “no deal” made for Brunson’s return.
“There was NO DEAL made with Turkey for the release and return of Pastor Andrew Brunson. I don’t make deals for hostages,” he tweeted. “There was, however, great appreciation on behalf of the United States, which will lead to good, perhaps great, relations between the United States & Turkey!”
So even though Erdogan is considered a dictator and a muslim thug Trump has played his cards well, offering a path to better relations between the US and Turkey which is still part of NATO.
This is a good sign for Trump foreign policy after Trump’s opponents said he would threaten the world and cause war. Quite the opposite.
Now here is today’s main commentary:
If you listen to and watch the Fake News media you might think that president Trump is unpopular, frightened and is hiding in the White House so as not to hurt Republican candidates in the coming November elections.
The opposite is true. Trump is campaigning vigorously and it is obvious that he is enjoying himself. He is not letting the negative media coverage affect him one iota. In fact he is playing on it to gin up more and more excitement for Republican candidates in states where he is holding huge rallies with more than 10,000 people turning out.
Meanwhile it was reported recently that Obama attracted 750 people to a rally. So who is rising and who is falling? It is clear for all to see.
Where are the big Bill Clinton rallies? Or Hillary rallies? Or Biden rallies for Democrats? Or Oprah Winfrey rallies? Or Michael Moore rallies?
There are none.
This “political enthusiasm” for Trump and thus for Republicans is very bad news for Democrats; ‘enthusiasm’ is a big issue in any election.
Meanwhile ‘enthusiasm’ is being manifested in another way. PJ Media reports:
Both Republicans and Democrats are reporting a massive fundraising surge in the past few weeks as a result of the bitter and contentious confirmation process for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh — but Republicans seem to have the edge.
“We’ve seen a 500 percent increase in our fundraising at the end of the month as tensions have been boiling over in Washington and voters have started to pay attention,” Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel explained on Fox News Tuesday.
This comes after Democrats acted like only they were going to benefit from the Kavanaugh debacle. At the same time the revered liberal website Politico recently posted about the coming US House elections:
There are now 209 seats either firmly or leaning in the Democratic column — only 9 shy of the 218 needed to win control.
OK, so even with 209 Democrat seats Republicans would still have 226 seats and would maintain majority control of the House by 17 votes, which is a significant margin.
At the same time the Rasmussen Reports poll, which is famous for accuracy, said on October 10:
With less than a month to Election Day, the Generic Congressional Ballot is now dead even.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone and online survey finds that 45% of Likely U.S. Voters would choose the Democratic candidate if the elections for Congress were held today. Another 45% would opt for the Republican. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and eight percent (8%) are undecided.
This is the ‘generic’ question (“Would you vote Democrat or Republican?” with no specific candidate mentioned) that was as much as 15 points in favor of Democrats in a December 2017 poll.
And worse for Democrats, if it remains 45-45 or otherwise tied on election day then Republicans would likely maintain their 49-vote majority in the House (242 to 193).
Nikitas3.com predicts that Republicans will easily hold majority control of the House and will hold 57 seats to 61 seats in the US Senate when the 2019 congressional session opens (they now hold 51 seats).
Nikitas3.com believes that these numbers show that Democrats totally overplayed their hand with the Kavanaugh debacle. Their behavior has ended up firing up Republican voters who might otherwise have been complacent.
The president campaigned for secure-borders Republican US Senate candidate Lou Barletta in Pennsylvania on the day that Hurricane Michael slammed Florida.
Some media skunks suggested the Trump was ignoring the hurricane and sought to criticize him on that point. But the president has seen this story before and he is not being intimidated. He is campaigning full force as the election approaches. MSN.com reported on October 10:
The president hit familiar beats in his (Pennsylvania) rally Wednesday, encouraging voters to turn out by primarily focusing on his administration’s victories and warning about potential rule by Democrats.
He also tailored some of his common themes to Pennsylvania voters, saying that “we’re putting our coal miners back to work, we’re putting our steelworkers back to work.” He also criticized Democratic Sen. Bob Casey, who is up for re-election this year.
“If you want to save American lives, and save American jobs …then you need to vote for a pro-American patriot named Lou Barletta,” Mr. Trump said, referring to Casey’s Republican opponent.
… Barletta also spoke during the rally, hitting on cultural touchstones such as NFL players protesting police brutality by kneeling during the national anthem. “We are going to kneel when we pray and stand for the flag,” he said.
That is a fantastic quote from Barletta, the type of quote that wins elections. Trump’s fearlessness is finally rubbing off on everyone. But then again Barletta has always been a courageous Trump-like figure.
Nikitas3.com predicts that Barletta will win. Meanwhile The Daily Caller reports:
Republican Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate Scott Wagner went after his opponent, Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf, in a Friday video vowing to drive Wolf out of office.
“Governor Wolf, let me tell you, between now and November six, you better put a catcher’s mask on your face because I’m going to stomp all over your face with golf spikes because I’m going to win this for the state of Pennsylvania and we’re throwing you out of office” Wagner said in the video.
Wow. No more Mr. Nice Guy Republican. The Trump Effect is spreading. Meanwhile MSN.com reported about a Trump commentary published in USA Today:
Democrats have denounced a “deceitful” opinion article by Donald Trump, which claims that the party has embraced Venezuela-style socialism.
The president wrote in USA Today, one of the country’s most widely read newspapers, on Wednesday: “The truth is that the centrist Democratic party is dead. The new Democrats are radical socialists who want to model America’s economy after Venezuela.”
A fact-check of the op-ed by the Washington Post found that “almost every sentence contained a misleading statement or a falsehood”. It noted drily: “We are unaware of any Democratic leader that has pointed to Venezuela as an economic model.”
Imagine that… Trump posts one single newspaper commentary and Democrats want to fact-check it and tear it apart at the same time that 99% of the commentaries appearing in the Fake News media are vehemently anti-Trump and chock full of distortions and outright lies. MSN.com continues:
The article was apparently intended as a rallying cry for Trump’s Republican party ahead of next month’s midterm elections, which will decide control of Congress. Opinion polls suggest Democrats are on course to win the House of Representatives, partly fueled by the president’s personal unpopularity.
Yes, according to slanted media polls Democrats are going to win. These are the same polls that said that Hillary had a 92% chance of winning. But according to Rasmussen, Politico, Nikitas3.com and other sources Republicans are poised to do very well.
By the way Trump’s job approval numbers are higher than Obama’s at this point in his presidency. So there is no “personal unpopularity”; that ‘unpopularity’ is among people on the left.
This all comes in a mid-term election when Republicans would be expected to lose many seats as Democrats lost 63 seats in the House in the 2010 mid-term elections after Obama won the White House in 2008. MSN continued analyzing Trump’s USA Today commentary:
Trump warned: “Every single citizen will be harmed by such a radical shift in American culture and life. Virtually everywhere it has been tried, socialism has brought suffering, misery and decay.”
Turning to immigration, he wrote, without evidence: “Today’s Democratic party is for open-borders socialism. This radical agenda would destroy American prosperity.”
But Trump’s main line of attack was Democrats’ plans for Medicare, a government health insurance program for the elderly and disabled. He claimed that a proposal called Medicare for All “would end Medicare as we know it and take away benefits that seniors have paid for their entire lives”.
President Trump is correct on all counts and he is not holding back. Great. This is what terrifies Democrats – that Trump is no longer afraid of them or their media cronies.
Trump’s fearlessness finally rubbed off on Senate Republicans who confirmed justice Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court. To see squishy Republican Lindsey Graham finally getting a spine and coming out swinging hard against the Democrats’ behavior was truly refreshing.
Meanwhile Democrats and leftist activists simply cannot keep up with their perpetual outrage over everything and anything. Have you noticed that the Kavanaugh furor completely disappeared within one day?
Democrats understand what is happening. With just over three weeks to election day they are having that sinking feeling – once again – as many polls are suddenly shifting to Republican candidates like to ex-military fighter pilot Martha McSally running for US Senate in Arizona, who now has a six-point lead in one poll.
When McSally was shown in polls as tied with or trailing her flaky left-wing opponent Nikitas3.com did not believe one word of it. And now the story gets better for McSally. Fox News reports about the Democrat opposing McSally:
U.S. Democratic Senate hopeful Kyrsten Sinema promoted events at Arizona State University featuring a lawyer convicted for aiding an Islamist terror organization and its leader.
Sinema, a co-founder of the activist group Local to Global Justice, invited people in a now-closed Yahoo group to attend two events with Lynn Stewart, both in 2003.
At the time of the invite, Stewart had been charged with helping her former client Omar Abdel Rahman, a radical Egyptian spiritual leader of a terror group, to pass on secret messages to his followers to commit terror attacks.
Even worse Sinema called Arizona “crazy” in a speech in 2005. She also called Arizona “the meth lab of democracy” referring to methamphetamine, a home-made drug.
Arizonans are not going to take kindly to these insults. Sinema is finished.
In the much-discussed Texas US Senate race that showed Democrat challenger Beto O’Rourke surging against incumbent Republican Ted Cruz it now looks like Cruz is pulling away as Nikitas3.com predicted he would. Despite rivers of money flowing to O’Rourke, Texans are not impressed that so much of it comes from out of state, including Hollywood.
Here’s another reason that O’Rourke will lose. The Daily Caller reports:
Senatorial nominee Rep. Robert “Beto” O’Rourke has for years been a recurring guest on the “Drug Truth Network,” a fringe pro-drug legalization media outlet whose founder has compared America to Nazi Germany and law enforcement and military members to terrorists.
The founder of Drug Truth Network, Dean Becker, is a pro-drug legalization activist. O’Rourke has been a recurring guest since 2009, when the Texas Democrat sat on the El Paso Council, according to Becker’s website, DrugTruth.net.
Becker has three weekly radio shows: “Century of Lies,” “Cultural Baggage” and “4:20 Drug War News.” He’s featured O’Rourke on all three of them.
O’Rourke appeared on “Cultural Baggage” in August, where Becker introduced him as “my very good friend Congressman Beto O’Rourke.”
Meanwhile Republicans are surging against incumbent Democrats in Indiana, Missouri and Florida. In conservative Montana Nikitas3.com predicts that Republican Matt Rosendale will win the US Senate seat from two-term incumbent Democrat Jon Tester who has moved far to the left in his 12-year career.
We can expect Republicans to continue surging all over the nation as the full impact of the Kavanaugh debacle reverberates and as the election nears. At the same time James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas is exposing treachery among major Democrat candidates in undercover videos. There are hints that a Project Veritas ‘sting’ video about Tester is coming out soon.
Nikitas3.com predicts that Republican Knute Buehler will win the governorship in liberal Oregon after a Project Veritas video exposed corruption in the campaign of incumbent Democrat governor Kate Brown. This comes after Brown replaced the sitting Democrat governor John Kitzhaber in 2015 after he resigned in a corruption scandal.
Even moderate Oregonians are certainly sick and tired of the corruption and of left-wing ‘antifa’ thugs and the aggressive homeless who have taken over Portland as the liberal mayor does nothing and innocent citizens are victimized.
Nikitas3.com also predicts that Democrats will lose a “safe” Democrat US Senate seat in liberal New Jersey as sitting senator Bob Menendez, widely suspected of corruption but never convicted, is ousted by Republican pharmaceutical executive Bob Hugin.
Here is an eye-popping story about a US House seat that Democrats were claiming would be ‘the easiest midterm pickup in the country’. This is from Fox News:
For the first time in almost three decades, Florida’s highly competitive 27th Congressional District seat, long held by Republican, Cuban-American Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, is up for grabs.
Now all eyes are on the close race that, just months ago, Democrats considered the easiest midterm pickup in the country, after Hillary Clinton won the district in 2016 by a 20-point margin over Donald Trump.
… Despite widespread name recognition in her first run for office, Donna Shalala, the Democratic candidate, is in a surprisingly tight race against her lesser-known GOP opponent, Spanish-language journalist and political rookie, Maria Elvira Salazar, because of the makeup of the district, which spans across Miami Beach, Coral Gables, Key Biscayne and Little Havana.
So there you go. In another case Fox News reported about a Texas state senate race on September 18, 2018 in a district held by Democrats for 139 years and that Hillary Clinton won by 12 points in 2016:
Republican Pete Flores defeated Democrat Pete Gallego on Tuesday night in the special election runoff for Senate District 19, a major upset in a Democratic-friendly seat with implications for the balance of power in the upper chamber.
With all precincts reporting, Flores beat Gallego by 6 percentage points in the race to replace convicted former state Sen. Carlos Uresti, D-San Antonio. Flores had 53 percent of the vote and Gallego 47 percent in unofficial returns.
Gallego conceded to Flores around 9 p.m., according to both campaigns. With the victory, Flores will become the first Hispanic Republican to serve in the Texas Senate.
This district is reported to be more than 70% black and Hispanic. And Flores did not just squeak by – he won by 6 points.
Blue wave? No. Meanwhile there has only been one gubernatorial debate in California and it was on the radio in the middle of the day.
This was intentional since the Democrat candidate, who has a huge built-in advantage in the race in liberal California, would never take a single chance on allowing the Republican message to get out.
This is how Democrats and their media cronies and internet goons always treat ideas outside of their sphere – they don’t debate them openly; they censor and suppress them.
Nikitas3.com still predicts a gubernatorial upset win by Republican candidate John Cox after eight years of severe economic decline and social chaos in California under hard-left Democrat rule.
In Wisconsin one-term lesbian Democrat US senator Tammy Baldwin is being challenged by Republican state senator Leah Vukmir. Most polls show Baldwin winning by a small to medium margin. But there is only one reliable poll and that is the vote on election day.
Wisconsin has been trending Republican for the last 8 years. President Trump won Wisconsin in 2016 and also in 2016 incumbent Republican US senator Ron Johnson was expected to lose his first re-election bid. But he won a handy victory by a comfortable 3.4 points after he was trailing in the polls in October. So again, we should not believe any polls.
Nikitas3.com predicts that Vukmir will win since she is being supported by successful two-term Republican governor Scott Walker who has revitalized the state. She will probably get a Trump rally too.
Walker and president Trump worked together to bring a massive new manufacturing facility to Wisconsin operated by the global electronics giant Foxconn. It will provide 13,000 high-paying jobs. This has made them both popular in Wisconsin.
