Mitt Romney is a Jackass/ More Genocide Against Christians

Mitt Romney is a loser and a jackass. He ran for president twice – in the primaries in 2008 and then in the general election of 2012 – and lost both times.

His father George Romney, former governor of Michigan and CEO of American Motors (the fourth and smallest American car company) famously did even worse. George Romney ran for president in 1968 as a Republican. He was the favored candidate but was run out of the race by a legendary gaffe. The Washington Post reports:

Governor George W. Romney of Michigan was a leading contender for the 1968 Republican presidential nomination until September 4, 1967, when he told Detroit television newsman Lou Gordon that he had been “brainwashed” by American generals into supporting the Vietnam war effort while touring Southeast Asia in 1965.

Though Romney tried in earnest to explain himself, he became the target of blistering press and partisan attacks. Romney’s candidacy never recovered from the furor he created with his statement.

Here is the actual quote with Romney talking about his trip to Vietnam to observe the situation there and how the US military and diplomats did everything they could to put a good face on the war:

“When I came back from Vietnam I just had the greatest brainwashing that anybody can get… not only by the generals but also by the diplomatic corps over there…”

Absolute Michigan.com reports:

Romney’s comment dogged him even in death. When he died in July 1995, the headline from the Associated Press (AP) read, “George Romney, Who Said Military Brainwashed Him on Vietnam, Dead at 88.” The first paragraph of an AP dispatch from Michigan, designed to be favorable, read, “Former Gov. George W. Romney, whose remark that he was brainwashed into supporting the Vietnam War derailed his presidential bid, was remembered as a man who shaped Michigan’s political landscape and automotive history.”

Ouch… So Mitt Romney – his first name is Willard, by the way – has the genes of his loser father, just like John McCain is a two-time presidential loser (he lost in the primaries in 2000 to George W. Bush and in the general election to Obama in 2008). And Romney is super-envious of president Trump for getting elected, just like McCain was. And they both hate Trump, or hated Trump.

Mitt Romney served as Massachusetts governor from January 2003 to January 2007. He resigned after one term to pursue the presidency; that was very controversial in Massachusetts. And so it must have been embarrassing for him to fail to get the Republican nomination in 2008 when he thought he was a shoo-in.

In 2018, Romney ran for and won a Republican US Senate seat from Utah as his political consolation prize. Since then he has spoken out strongly against president Trump twice. The first time came even before he was sworn in as a senator in January 2019. Breitbart News reports:

Failed presidential candidate and soon-to-be-sworn-in U.S. Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) took to the Washington Post on Jan. 1 to slam President Donald Trump on New Year’s Day.

“The Trump presidency made a deep descent in December,” Romney opened his op-ed Tuesday.

He acknowledged his opposition to Trump in the 2016 presidential election, claimed that he had early hope for Trump’s presidency, then lamented that “on balance, his conduct over the past two years, particularly his actions this month, is evidence that the president has not risen to the mantle of the office.”

Romney acknowledged that Trump had enacted “policies mainstream Republicans have promoted for years.” He praised aligning “U.S. corporate taxes with those of global competitors,” deregulation, cracking down on China’s “unfair” trade practices, criminal justice reform, and appointments of conservative judges.

But he went on to assail Trump’s character: “With the nation so divided, resentful and angry, presidential leadership in qualities of character is indispensable. And it is in this province where the incumbent’s shortfall has been most glaring.”

Yes, but we don’t care what Romney thinks. Trump is super-effective. And at least Trump got elected president and is doing something to reform the country.

This criticism of Trump came two years after Romney went groveling to president-elect Trump in late 2016 to be appointed secretary of state. But Trump blew him off. So Romney is doubly mad and envious. But it has gotten much worse. The Daily Caller reports:

Republican Utah Sen. Mitt Romney took flak Friday (April 19) from many prominent supporters of President Donald Trump after he posted his take on the Mueller report to Twitter.

“I am sickened at the extent and pervasiveness of dishonesty and misdirection by individuals in the highest office of the land, including the President,” he wrote, after characterizing as “good news” the fact that there was “insufficient evidence” to charged Trump with a crime.

“I am also appalled that, among other things, fellow citizens working in a campaign for president welcomed help from Russia — including information that had been illegally obtained; that none of them acted to inform American law enforcement; and that the campaign chairman was actively promoting Russian interests in Ukraine,” he continued.

“Reading the report is a sobering revelation of how far we have strayed from the aspirations and principles of the founders,” the statement concluded.

Trump and his defenders lost no time in savaging Romney. President Trump himself tweeted:

“If Mitt Romney spent the same energy fighting Barack Obama as he does fighting Donald Trump, he could have won the race (maybe)!”

How true that is. The same goes for McCain who ran an awful campaign against Obama in 2008. Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee tweeted:

“Know what makes me sick, Mitt? Not how disingenuous you were to take @realDonaldTrump $$ and then 4 yrs later jealously trash him & then love him again when you begged to be Sec of State, but makes me sick that you got GOP nomination and could have been @POTUS.”

David Limbaugh, brother of Rush, tweeted:

I hereby withdraw my vote for Mitt Romney in 2012. Thank you.

Scott Pressler tweeted:

Mitt Romney is attacking @realDonaldTrump, again.
I’m not going to say one negative thing about Romney.
But I will say that President Trump won
Florida, Iowa, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, & Maine’s 2nd Congressional District.

Wayne Allen Root tweeted:

What a bitter, jealous loser Mitt Romney is. I speak for 63 million @realDonaldTrump voters when I say: We are sickened by you. You are a GOP coward & traitor. We all know you’d rather see an open borders Democrat #LOSER

Obviously Romney is the new John McCain – a useless pain in the a** who will sometimes support president Trump and the conservative agenda and sometimes won’t.

This is what is really sickening. We have an unparalleled opportunity to reform America from the economy to illegal immigration to our energy supply yet cheap, angry politicians like McCain and Romney are throwing it away.

But fortunately Trump has six more years to get things done…

Romney is doing this for the same reason that McCain did – to curry favor with the Fake News media and become their ‘favorite Republican’. After all, that is how Romney got the column in the Washington Post to attack Trump, and he liked the feeling and wants more.

Christians Under Attack from Muslims and Trump Haters

Fox News reported on Easter Sunday:

A pair holding U.S. and British nationalities were among the 11 foreigners killed after a series of explosions struck three churches and three luxury hotels in and just outside of Sri Lanka’s capital Easter Sunday, leaving at least 207 people dead and 450 others injured, officials said.

Notice that it does not say “Christian churches”. This is to cover up for the muslims who certainly did this. Breitbart News reported:

The targets were Catholic worshippers attending Easter Mass and guests at high-end hotels popular with foreign tourists.

Two of the blasts were suspected to have been suicide bomber attacks, according to one official who spoke to the Associated Press (AP) on condition of anonymity.

Reports now indicate a seventh explosion in the Sri Lankan capital has killed two people. Police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekera said the blast hit a hotel in the southern Colombo suburb of Dehiwala.

Worshippers and hotel guests were among the fatalities, the official said, in the biggest violence in the South Asian country since its civil war ended a decade ago. Nine foreigners were among the dead, officials confirmed.

The three hotels hit were the Shangri-La Colombo, Kingsbury Hotel in Colombo and the Cinnamon Grand Colombo.

In just one church, St. Sebastian’s in Katuwapitiya, north of the Sri Lankan capital, more than 50 people were killed, a police official told Reuters, with pictures showing bodies on the ground, blood on the pews and a destroyed roof.

Fox News then covered up again for the muslims by reporting:

The magnitude of the attacks recalls Sri Lanka’s decades-long civil war when separatist Tamil Tigers and other rebel groups targeted the Central Bank, Buddist temple and hotels popular with tourists. Government forces defeated the separatist group was defeated in 2009 after 26 years of fighting.

Notice that Fox talks about a “civil war” dispute from the past when the victims were buddhists. This is a classic global media misdirection to steer the blame away from the muslims who certainly perpetrated the attack. Because the global media are now in the business of protecting muslims in every way possible. Fox News also reported:

Defense Minister Ruwan Wijewardena described the attacks as a terrorist attack by religious extremists, though no one immediately claimed responsibility. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said he feared the violence could trigger instability in the country and its economy.

“Religious extremists?” So which religion’s “extremists” attacks Christians all over the globe?

Answer: Muslims do. But the global media are doing everything they can to cover up for muslim terrorism. In fact one BuzzFeed editor tweeted that:

“Suspect we’d be hearing a lot more outrage from Trump and co. if the Christians killed in Sri Lanka were white”

In other words, forget about the terrorists, let’s turn all of this on Trump.

Update: Agence-France Presse reports:

Sri Lanka’s police chief made a nationwide alert 10 days before Sunday’s bomb attacks in the country that suicide bombers planned to hit “prominent churches”, according to the warning seen by AFP.

Police chief Pujuth Jayasundara sent an intelligence warning to top officers on April 11 setting out the threat.

“A foreign intelligence agency has reported that the NTJ (National Thowheeth Jama’ath) is planning to carry out suicide attacks targeting prominent churches as well as the Indian high commission in Colombo,” said the alert.

The NTJ is a radical Muslim group in Sri Lanka that came to notice last year when it was linked to the vandalization of Buddhist statues.

This mention of a “radical muslim group” is the first mention of the word ‘muslim’ that Nikitas3.com saw in the media, and this came more than 24 hours after the attacks.

Here are tweets from Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. Notice that they don’t mention “Christians”:

On this holy weekend for many faiths, we must stand united against hatred and violence. I’m praying for everyone affected by today’s horrific attacks on Easter worshippers and travelers in Sri Lanka.

Our hearts go out to the victims and families of the horrific attacks in Sri Lanka. No person should have to fear for their life in their place of worship. We must work to bring this world together around our common humanity.

Update: Fox News reported:

Weeks before coordinated bombings ripped through churches and luxury hotels — killing nearly 300 people on Easter Sunday — authorities in Sri Lanka received warnings a domestic radical Muslim group would attack the nation on the Christian holy day.

Despite multiple warnings from international intelligence agencies, however, Sri Lanka’s security officials reportedly failed to heed the alerts and apparently took no action to protect against a potential attack. Authorities were first alerted to the threat April 4.

So the government was probably in on the whole deal. This is sick.

Christians, and Orthodox Christians, have been under assault for thousands of years. It continues today even in the US. The Dayton Daily News reports:

From his home at the All-Merciful Saviour Monastery on Vashon Island, Washington, Abbot Tryphon told Seattle’s KIRO-TV about how he was suddenly attacked Tuesday morning while gassing up at the Mobil station on Southwest 148th Street in Burien (south of Seattle).

“I have never been hit as hard,” The Russian Orthodox priest said Wednesday. The at-large suspect “zeroed in on my cross, because when he started coming my direction, he had this look of anger,” he said.

The leader of the Vashon monks said the man who struck him first asked, “How’s Trump?” When Abbot Tryphon answered, “I have no idea,” that’s when the man struck him, he said.

On Wednesday afternoon, the King County Sheriff’s Office released surveillance video recorded at the gas station, hoping that someone will help identify the man.

Yessiree, “How’s Trump?” This is domestic terrorism. That is the question of all of the leftist thugs as they assault decent, law-abiding citizens in the streets. The very existence of president Trump has unleashed a wave of violence on America by left-wingers.

Yet somehow we are supposed to believe that Trump supporters are committing violent acts rather than being victims of the violence.

Breitbart News has chronicled more than 600 assaults and threats on Trump and his supporters by American leftists, like the recent punching of a conservative recruiter on the campus of the University of California at Berkeley.

Fortunately there are clear pictures of the Seattle attacker. He will certainly be arrested soon and Nikitas3.com would bet that he is a Bernie Sanders supporter or a supporter of one of the 2020 Democrat candidates.

We can also be sure that this attack was incited by the non-stop Trump-hating rhetoric from the media and thus that harming Trump supporters is a positive thing to these attackers. Yet Abbot Tryphon is not even a political person. He said, “I’m not a political person. People don’t know my political persuasion or how I vote.” The Dayton Daily News continued:

One day later, Abbot Tryphon still has ringing in his ears and some hearing loss. He believes that for some reason, the cross on his chest angered the man.

“When the man saw the cross, he went insane. … He got this insane look and that’s when he punched me,” he said.

Friends, this is what America was founded to prevent – the random attacks on citizens just for being who they are when they are conservative, Christian, or otherwise non-liberal.
