Private Funds Build Border Wall/ Trump Heading for Re-election

Private funds are building a Mexican border wall on private land in Texas. Fox News reports:

A privately funded organization called “We Build the Wall” began work this weekend on a project to erect a section of border wall in the El Paso sector.

Former Kansas Secretary of State, Kris Kobach, said on “Fox & Friends” Monday that the project was undertaken because there is a “ridiculously large gap” near Mount Cristo Rey, and drug and human smugglers have been taking advantage of it.

The barrier will be built on private land. … “This is the first time any private organization has built border wall on private land,” Kobach told Pete Hegseth, adding that the Army Corps of Engineers had said previously that the strip of land was too rugged for fencing.

This is fantastic. What a great idea. Hats off to Brian Kolfage.

Anyone who owns land on the border can allow a wall to be built on their land without all the Democrat obstruction of a federally-funded wall. And considering that much of the land on the border is private, this is a great plan. Expect it to expand as more of The Private Wall is completed and success is noted.

The Gateway Pundit reports about the group Build The Wall and its founder Brian Kolfage:

Brian told us, “At the beginning everyone said you can’t do this. It’s impossible. You just can’t do this. And I think that just drove us forward even harder to get the project done. That’s what this country is all about, coming together and pooling our resources and getting the job done in a time of crisis. And we are in a crisis.”

Brian, a war veteran and triple amputee added, “We wanted to prove to the American people that in a time of need we can come together like we used to and get things done that are big. And I think we’re at a time where we realize that our government and politicians aren’t representing the people.”

Kris Kobach, who is on the leadership board of “We Build the Wall” is currently at the Texas-New Mexico border with Brian Kolfage as “We Build the Wall” completes its first project that closes off human traffic in the valley and cartel drug smuggling on Mout Cristo Rey.

In their latest video Kris Kobach explains how this section of border wall cuts off smuggling of around $100,000 worth of illegal drugs a day!

Kris Kobach added that “We Build the Wall” is finishing this section of wall with a platform on Mt. Cristo Rey that allows border guards to see for nearly 30 miles!

This private group WITH YOUR DONATIONS was able to complete a half mile section of international wall in 4 days! This is an incredible accomplishment!

The group wants to raise $1 billion. It already has raised $23.6 million and donations appear to be accelerating as news of The Private Wall spreads.

This group also will build the wall for much less money since this project is private and is avoiding government waste and corruption. Go here to donate!

Let us hope that this continues as progress also is being made on hundreds of miles of taxpayer-funded border wall that the Fake News media refuse to report on.

Meanwhile Mexico’s president, who is a far-left communist, said that president Trump is

“turning the United States, overnight, from a country of brotherly love for immigrants from around the world, to a bolted space, where there’s stigmatizing, mistreatment, abuse, persecution, and a denial of the right to justice to those who seek — with sacrifice and hard work — to live free from misery.”

So here’s a very simple solution for the communist: Mexico should take in all of America’s illegal immigrants, and take care of them and provide them with jobs.

That way Mexico can prove to us what a great nation that it allegedly is. But Mexico will never do so. Because Mexico is a terrible nation that tens of millions of people have been fleeing for many decades.

Where have they all gone?

To the greatest nation in the world – the United States of America, that’s where…

Trump is Heading for Re-election has been predicting since president Trump was elected that he is going to be re-elected in 2020. And more and more evidence indicates that that is going to happen. Breitbart News recently reported:

American voters like today’s economy so much that the percentage who say it is “excellent” or “good” represents 71 percent. That’s the highest total number in almost 18 years, according to a Quinnipiac University National poll.

This number essentially guarantees Trump’s re-election. Breitbart News also reports:

Americans increasingly believe that Donald Trump has the personality and leadership qualities a president should have, according to a poll released on Tuesday.

A Gallup poll released Tuesday found that 40 percent of Americans believe that President Trump has the right personality and leadership qualities a president should have, which serves as a seven-point gain from two years ago at the beginning of his administration, where only a third, or 33 percent, of Americans, believed that Trump had the right qualities to be president.

Americans’ belief in Trump’s leadership abilities has risen across the political spectrum.

Note: This poll is talking about the president’s weak suit, which is his personality. Yet even these numbers are going up. This is very good news for Trump and these numbers will improve as the 2020 election nears.

Meanwhile his reputation already has soared on the economy and foreign policy. Breitbart News continued:

… “Democrats also must be careful not to nominate a candidate who is perceived as out of the mainstream on issues,” Gallup concluded. “Doing so could elevate issues as a voting factor and work to Trump’s advantage if more voters say they agree with Trump than the Democratic candidate on the most important issues.”

This is obvious. But it will fall on deaf ears. No matter whom the Democrats nominate – even if it is “moderate” Biden – he/she is going to be forced to the left politically where he/she will lose.

Another major development: Two Republicans have decided that they will not challenge president Trump in a primary in 2020 – Maryland governor Larry Hogan and former Ohio governor John Kasich. This shows that Trump is getting stronger as 2020 approaches.

Now look at this New York Times commentary shining a positive light on the president and written by Steven Rattner who was an Obama administration official:

The economy invariably ranks among the top issues on the minds of voters in presidential elections. At the moment, it appears to offer President Trump a meaningful tailwind.

But how big is that tailwind? Fortunately, economists have worked hard to develop models for predicting election outcomes, and according to one of the best of these, it should be quite large.

One of the first — and perhaps still the best — of these models was created by Ray Fair, a professor at Yale. He found that the growth rates of gross domestic product and inflation have been the two most important economic predictors — but he also found that incumbency was also an important determinant of presidential election outcomes.

How well has Professor Fair’s model worked?

In short, while not perfect, the Fair model has done remarkably well. In 2008, it predicted that Barack Obama would receive 53.1 percent of the popular vote; his share actually totaled 53.7 percent. In 2012, when Mr. Obama was running for re-election, its final estimate was a vote share of 51.8 percent, just two-tenths of one percent less than what the incumbent president received. (For Mr. Obama in 2012, the power of incumbency helped offset a still-recovering economy.)

… A good part of Mr. Trump’s edge in 2016 was the incumbency factor — after eight years of a Democratic president, voters would ordinarily have wanted a Republican. … In 2020, incumbency will be a tailwind for Mr. Trump as the vast majority of presidents are chosen for a second term.

… It’s worth noting that the Fair model is hardly alone in its forecast. Mark Zandi, the chief economist at Moody’s Analytics, has looked at 12 models, and Mr. Trump wins in all of them. Donald Luskin of Trend Macrolytics has reached the same conclusion in his examination of the Electoral College.

Wow. Kaboom. This is YUGE… And it is only 2019. Trump’s numbers are going to rise as the election approaches. Here is more about Trump’s bold action on the border that will help to re-elect him:

… Trump announced a new 5 percent tariff on Mexico in his effort to solve the illegal immigration problem. He made the announcement on Twitter:

On June 10th, the United States will impose a 5% Tariff on all goods coming into our Country from Mexico, until such time as illegal migrants coming through Mexico, and into our Country, STOP. The Tariff will gradually increase until the Illegal Immigration problem is remedied,..

President Trump has released a statement on the new tariff:

To address the emergency at the Southern Border, I am invoking the authorities granted to me by the International Emergency Economic Powers Act. Accordingly, starting on June 10, 2019, the United States will impose a 5 percent Tariff on all goods imported from Mexico. If the illegal migration crisis is alleviated through effective actions taken by Mexico, to be determined in our sole discretion and judgment, the Tariffs will be removed. If the crisis persists, however, the Tariffs will be raised to 10 percent on July 1, 2019. Similarly, if Mexico still has not taken action to dramatically reduce or eliminate the number of illegal aliens crossing its territory into the United States, Tariffs will be increased to 15 percent on August 1, 2019, to 20 percent on September 1, 2019, and to 25 percent on October 1, 2019. Tariffs will permanently remain at the 25 percent level unless and until Mexico substantially stops the illegal inflow of aliens coming through its territory. Workers who come to our country through the legal admissions process, including those working on farms, ranches, and in other businesses, will be allowed easy passage.

This is tough stuff. And it won’t take much to push the Mexican economy over a cliff. Trump knows this and so does Mexico. So Mexico had better shape up or it will end up with a shattered economy and a border wall that blocks any outlet for its angry people.

Update: Check this out from The Daily Caller This is major news:

The Trump administration is sending Homeland Security agents and other law enforcement officers to the Guatemala-Mexico border, part of the White House’s ongoing efforts to reduce illegal immigration to the United States, officials familiar with the plan said.

Dozens of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents and investigators will work alongside Guatemalan law enforcement to fight drug-trafficking and better prohibit the flow of illegal migration from the country, according to a report from The Washington Post. The U.S. agents will work as advisers for local Guatemalan forces.

The plan, which has not yet been formally announced, will reportedly involve a number of Homeland Security Investigations agents and intelligence analysts, several agents from Enforcement and Removal Operations, and other law enforcement personnel. A senior DHS source for CNN said the entire plan will last for two years.

News of the deployment comes after DHS Acting Secretary Kevin McAleenan signed a memorandum with the Guatemalan government that calls on both countries to work together to fight crime and reduce unauthorized immigration.

“I am proud to sign this agreement with Minister Enrique Antonio Degenhart,” McAleenan said on Tuesday. “Through our continued collaboration and partnership, the U.S. and Guatemala are formalizing a number of initiatives to improve the lives and security of our respective citizens by combating human trafficking and the smuggling of illegal goods, helping to limit ‘push’ factors that encourage dangerous irregular migration to the U.S., perpetuating the ongoing crisis at our border.”

The U.S. government has agreed to help Guatemala fight local crime. In return, the Latin American country has agreed to beef up its own border security.

The acting DHS secretary recently ended a four-day trip in the Northern Triangle, a region in Central America that is the major source of illegal immigration into the U.S. The goal of McAleenan’s trip was to find collaborative solutions with Central American leaders to hedge the crisis.

The deal with Guatemala has already appeared to bear fruit. Nine leaders of a major human smuggling operation were arrested Wednesday, thanks to a joint effort by DHS Investigation agents and Guatemalan authorities. The bust dealt a devastating blow to a cartel that transported around 800 migrants a year into the U.S. and boasted $10 million in assets.

DHS says dismantling criminal operations in Guatemala, which sits in a strategic location next to Mexico, can help dramatically help reduce illegal immigration from Central America.

Meanwhile offers more bad news for Democrats:

He’s dominating in the polls, his fundraising is going gangbusters and he’s showing broad support from key political players in the early presidential states.

So where are the big energetic crowds, the lines around the block to get into Joe Biden’s events?

The question is no small matter in a party still recovering from a bitter 2016 defeat — a loss marked by a lack of enthusiasm for an establishment nominee in several critical states.

Attendance at the former vice president’s launch rally paled next to some of his rivals. In his first Iowa visit, he didn’t match the crowds that greeted Elizabeth Warren or even the less well-known Pete Buttigieg in their initial visits. So far, he’s kept his events to smaller venues where there’s little danger of empty seats.

In the eyes of Biden’s progressive critics — as well as President Donald Trump, who has publicly mocked him for it — the seeming lack of excitement or teeming masses at his events is a leading indicator of a lack of passion for his candidacy.

“I started to think the polls were wrong about Biden because it’s not what we’re seeing on the ground,” said Aimee Allison, founder and president of She the People, a national network devoted to promoting women of color.

So, friends, don’t believe this malarkey that Biden is a ‘magic bullet’ candidate for the Democrats. They said the same thing about Hillary. predicts that Biden will crash and burn like Hillary did.
