President Trump is expected to do much better among black voters in 2020 than he did in 2016. The reason is clear: His economic reforms have produced the lowest black unemployment rate ever.
In addition the president is making a pitch for millions more black votes, which Nikitas3.com calls the ‘Baltimore Strategy’.
By creating controversy and debate with his tweet over the horrible conditions in Baltimore – a rat-infested, crime-ridden, poverty-stricken largely black city controlled by Democrats for the last 70 years – he is making a case to African-Americans for alternative leadership. He is asking blacks to take a serious look at the conditions around them and ask themselves why they continue to vote Democrat.
Blacks have never been openly challenged in this way since Republicans have been weak and terrified of the Fake News media if they ever raised such a question.
Not president Trump. And his approach frightens Democrats who never want blacks to think about voting Republican. That is why Democrats continue to claim that Trump is a “racist” – so that blacks never look around at their terrible living conditions and connect them to the Democrats that have controlled their cities without challenge. Yet it is the Democrats themselves who are the real racists for creating and tolerating such horrible conditions with their policies.
If president Trump controlled Baltimore for 70 years you can bet that he would be squarely blamed for all of its woes.
Republicans want these black votes for good reason – every black vote that “flips” from Democrat to Republican is a double-whammy for Democrats. It is one less vote for Democrats while at the same time it is one more vote for Republicans. This doubling effect can have a very powerful and positive effect for Republicans.
Between the US Civil War, which ended in 1865, and the 1960s blacks all voted Republican and all elected black officials were Republican. This happened because the Republican party was founded in 1854 in Ripon, Wisconsin as the anti-slavery party.
President Abraham Lincoln, who signed the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863 to free the slaves, was a Republican. In 1964 Republicans fully supported the Civil Right Act while many Democrats worked against it including Bill Clinton’s mentor US senator J. William Fulbright of Arkansas; Hillary Clinton’s US Senate mentor Robert Byrd of West Virginia; and Al Gore’s father, a US senator from Tennessee.
If president Trump gets one million or more black votes nationally in 2020 than he did in 2016, which Nikitas3.com believes is definitely possible, he could “flip” several key electoral states to the Republican column and win by a bigger margin than he did in 2016.
Blacks have kept the Democrat party in business for many decades. Without black votes the American political landscape would be much more conservative. That is why Democrats are constantly ‘playing the race card’ – to agitate blacks and get them to forget the horrible things that Democrat rule is doing.
Here are some of the issues that the president should bring up to African Americans leading up to election day 2020:
*Education: The public schools in black urban America are horrible. President Trump should point out that Democrats and their teacher unions control these schools with an iron grip and that alternatives like charter schools, that are favored by conservatives, produce vastly better results at much lower cost.
*Law and order: Democrats have fostered an anti-police culture. They have excused horrible black behavior and crime. Their judicial leniency puts many dangerous black criminals back on the streets. Many law-abiding blacks are shocked and disgusted by this liberal agenda. President Trump should point out this fact to weary black residents in places like Baltimore who want to see a return to law and order.
*The economy: Democrats have allowed the economies in black cities to deteriorate. Businesses will not locate in these cities. Blacks suffered significantly under the stagnant Obama economy. On the other hand president Trump has encouraged economic growth and helped blacks significantly. He is not going to be shy about pointing this out.
*Illegal immigration hurts poor Americans most. Illegals compete for jobs with poor Americans, including blacks. Illegals often work for less money, depressing wages. They also push up rents by increasing the demand for housing in poor neighborhoods. Many blacks are thus opposed to illegal immigration. President Trump should appeal to them for votes with his secure-borders policies.
The Democrat party abandoned the white working class in favor of the black vote. Democrats are now abandoning blacks for hispanic illegal immigrants.
*Corruption: Black Democrat politicians in the inner cities like Baltimore are generally corrupt. They have ignored the needs of their constituents while enriching themselves on hundreds of billions in taxpayer dollars that are supposed to improve the cities. Did Obama’s $800 billion ‘stimulus’ plan of 2009 do anything for Baltimore? No. President Trump should point this out as 2020 unfolds.
*The destruction of the black family: Democrats have encouraged the destruction of the black family with their Welfare State policies. They have legitimized single black motherhood, dependency and illegitimacy, which are the leading causes of black poverty. President Trump should point this out and urge blacks to take a traditional family-centered approach to their basic social structure.
*Churches: Democrats have encouraged the secularization of black America. The loss of black churches has dealt a severe blow to a strong and cohesive African
American culture as it has also done to white America. Conservative black pastors are speaking out against this secularization and siding with president Trump.
*Environmentalism: Gasoline and heating oil went up to $4 a gallon and more under Obama ‘greenie’ policies. This did tremendous damage to poor Americans. Under oil industry “fracking” and Trump policies oil prices have fallen significantly. President Trump should point this out in 2020.
*Self-reliance: Democrats have fostered a culture of dependency in black America. They have destroyed the idea of small black businesses to sustain the people. President Trump should recommend a new path.
*Trade education: For decades Democrats have minimized the role of trade education (plumber, electrician, carpenter, mechanic, etc.) in favor of the idea that “everyone has to go to college”. This false narrative left millions of black males behind who could not afford college and did not know where else to go. Today tradesmen can make better salaries than college graduates.
*The ‘victim culture’: Democrats have spent 50 years foisting a ‘victim culture’ on African Americans, that they are always victims and never responsible for their own behavior. President Trump should encourage blacks to avoid this mindset and think positively about their own abilities and take responsibility for them.
Gillette Loses Big on Politically Correct Ad
The Gateway Pundit reports:
In January Proctor & Gamble and Gillette decided to run razor ads trashing men and “toxic” masculinity in a courageous ad campaign.
The company decided the best way to promote their product was to attack their customer base.
The new ad highlighted sexist and bullying white males in the United States.
Of the 43 abusive males in the ad – 42 were white. 7 of the hero men out of 8 in the ad were black.
The ad did not do so well. Many users promised to avoid the product.
The ad had 642,000 down votes after its first two days on YouTube.
All that wokeness did not pay off for Gillette and P&G.
Gillette lost $8 BILLION in the second quarter.
P&G reported a net loss of about $5.24 billion, or $2.12 per share, for the quarter ended June 30, due to an $8 billion non-cash writedown of Gillette. For the same period last year, P&G’s net income was $1.89 billion, or 72 cents per share.
It looks like trashing their consumer base with feminist lecturing was not such a good idea, huh?
Update: Gillette’s idiot CEO responds to huge losses. This is from Breitbart News:
Gillette CEO and president Gary Coombe is defending the $8 billion write-down Procter & Gamble experienced last quarter related to his brand, saying in a recent interview that it was “worth paying” and that he doesn’t mind alienating some customers.
Coombe told Marketing Week that the loss was “a price worth paying” as the 188-year-old maker of razors, blades and other grooming products contends with dwindling sales.
“It was pretty stark. We were losing share, we were losing awareness and penetration, and something had to be done,” Coombe said. He said Gillette decided to “take a chance in an emotionally-charged way.”
Gillette debuted a commercial in January that not only spotlighted the #MeToo movement but attacked traditional masculinity. In a series of scenes, the commercial depicted men and boys engaging in sexual harassment, bullying and workplace condescension towards women.
“Is this the best a man can get?” the commercial asked, inverting Gillette’s famous tagline “the best a man can get.”
Another ad debuted in May showing a transgender male youth learning how to shave. Gillette also attacked traditional feminine beauty in ads for its Venus razors for women, featuring obese and transexual models.
The commercials received widespread pushback on social media. Coombe told Marketing Week that the backlash was more intense than he expected, but that he doesn’t regret running them.
“I don’t enjoy that some people were offended by the film and upset at the brand as a consequence. That’s not nice and goes against every ounce of training I’ve had in this industry over a third of a century,” he said.
“But I am absolutely of the view now that for the majority of people to fall more deeply in love with today’s brands you have to risk upsetting a small minority and that’s what we’ve done.”
