First here is a quick word about the economy:
The American economy added 130,000 jobs in August. That is a good figure, but considering that employers can’t find workers already and the unemployment rate is at a historic low, 130,000 is a very good number. Breitbart added this great news:
… wage growth was strong in August. Average hourly earnings for all employees on private nonfarm payrolls rose by 11 cents to $28.11, or 0.4 percent, following 9-cent gains in both June and July. Over the past 12 months, average hourly earnings have increased by 3.2 percent. In August, average hourly earnings of private-sector production and nonsupervisory employees rose by 11 cents to $23.59.
President Trump’s policies are generally working well to revive an economy that has been sinking for decades. He has been able to reverse two big problems – the regulatory burden on businesses and the tax burden on businesses.
However, there are three other issues that are hamstringing the American economy:
*The US has too much debt, about $22 trillion worth. It is costing taxpayers roughly $500 billion per year in interest costs alone. Obama doubled the national debt. If Obama had not been president the debt would probably be $13 trillion.
*We have too many government jobs – which consume wealth – and not enough manufacturing jobs – which create wealth. Today we have almost twice as many government jobs (22 million) as manufacturing jobs. In the 1960s, it was almost the reverse (15 million manufacturing jobs).
*The global economy is doing very poorly due to very socialistic policies around the world, particularly in Europe and Japan. This is thwarting the US economy which is still growing at 2% to 3%. But Japan has not even broken 1% in the last three years and Europe has languished at less than 2% for many years.
Meanwhile Germany appears to be going into a recession and even the Chinese economy is faltering.
This is all negatively impacting the US economy.
Men are Faltering After Decades of Economic Decline
A website called Studyfinds.org recently reported
Marriage rates have steadily declined over the past few decades, and now researchers from Cornell University are offering up a possible explanation: there just aren’t as many economically-attractive men for unmarried women to meet as there used to be.
To which Nikitas3.com responds, “Gee, no kidding… Because when the economy is destroyed, then men are harmed and marriage rates suffer.”
And how has the US economy been destroyed?
Answer: Through decades of neglect and bad policy. Since 1979 Nikitas3.com calculates that 20 MILLION manufacturing jobs have either been destroyed or not created.
Manufacturing jobs “create wealth”. They take resources out of the ground that have no intrinsic value – a lump of iron ore is not worth anything in its natural state – and turn them into things like steel and cars that have a monetary value.
There were a peak number of 19 million manufacturing jobs in 1979 but only 12.5 million today in a much bigger population.
Politicians in Washington and around the country, particularly Democrats, have watched these jobs disappear without raising any objection. These jobs have fled overseas, or have simply been eliminated. Or not created. And these politicians have said nothing.
Until Trump, that is. And now that president Trump is doing everything in his power to being these jobs back – and being successful at it – Fake News media skunks and Democrat politicians and left-wing activists hate him for it.
It is sickening.
Studyfinds.org reported further:
Researchers found that these estimated potential “dream” husbands had an average income about 58% higher than the actual unmarried men currently available to unmarried women. These synthetic husbands were also 30% more likely to be employed than real single men and 19% more likely to have a college degree.
But the root cause of the problem is not being discussed. When the ‘wealth producing’ middle-class manufacturing jobs disappear, so do the economic prospects for men.
After all, most manufacturing jobs employ men. And these jobs produce spinoff jobs in the middle class, the upper middle class and even the lower classes.
For instance in Nikitas3.com’s hometown in Massachusetts in the 1960s the General Electric plant employed 14,000 people. The whole town of 55,000 was prosperous. The GE plant provided not only in well-paying factory jobs, but ancillary jobs in stores and other services around town (lawyer, doctor, builder, lawn mower, etc.); in management jobs at GE; and even in lower-class jobs to serve the booming economy.
Then along came the unions. They harassed General Electric throughout the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s with endless strikes, work slowdowns and even violence. The unions were warned over and over that their actions were going to lead GE to shutter the plant. And it did so in 1988.
That coincided with the decades-long war on jobs by Massachusetts Democrats with their relentless taxes, regulations and destructive ‘green’ laws.
Today there are only 1,300 jobs leftover from GE which does not offer much opportunity for the men in the area. Studyfinds.org also reports about today’s marriage rates:
It was also observed that many racial and ethnic minorities, specifically African American women, seem to be dealing with especially low numbers of economically attractive potential mates. Additionally, women on both the low end and high end of the socioeconomic spectrum face a harder time finding an economically compatible mate.
Yes, and one of the main reasons that this is happening is that women have been stealing jobs from men for decades as a result of the feminist movement.
So the women often end up unmarried with good jobs and great paychecks rather than leaving the jobs for the men so that the woman can get married, raise her kids and have a better life. And then go to work after her kids leave home, if she wants.
Rest assured that millions of these well-paid but husband-less and child-less women are miserable. Nikitas3.com is acquainted with many of them. Studyfinds.org reports:
“Most American women hope to marry but current shortages of marriageable men–men with a stable job and a good income–make this increasingly difficult, especially in the current gig economy of unstable low-paying service jobs,” explains lead author Dr. Daniel T. Lichter of Cornell University. “Marriage is still based on love, but it also is fundamentally an economic transaction. Many young men today have little to bring to the marriage bargain, especially as young women’s educational levels on average now exceed their male suitors.”
And don’t forget the War on Men that the Fake News media and the Democrats have been engaging in for decades. The result has been horrible for both men and women. When men suffer, women do too.
CNN ‘Climate’ Town Hall has Few Viewers
CNN held a 7-hour long ‘climate’ town hall meeting with Democrat presidential candidates on the evening/night of September 4. It was a bust. Breitbart News reported:
CNN’s 7-hour climate change town hall fell behind Fox News and MSNBC in the ratings, according to Nielsen Media Research’s findings released Thursday.
CNN’s marathon event– which began Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. ET and ended at midnight – averaged 1.1 million viewers, while Fox News averaged 2.5 million and MSNBC averaged 1.7 million during the same time span. The network also failed to beat its rival networks during primetime, averaging just 1.4 million viewers. Fox News averaged 3.2 million, and MSNBC averaged 2.2 million during primetime.
That’s a pitiful 1.1 million viewers for a discussion about ‘climate change’ that is supposed to be the end of the world. And you can rest assured that 99% of the viewers were left-wing ‘green’ fanatics who already have embraced the radical ‘climate’ gospel, i.e., no minds were changed by the CNN show.
In short few Americans think that the ‘climate crisis’ is really a crisis at all. And who could blame them? After Obama warned us for years about “rising sea levels”, he just purchased a $15 million oceanfront mansion on Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts.
And given the other radical ideas that came out of the CNN event, like ending all use of coal, oil and natural gas and banning the eating of meat, Democrats are lucky that few people saw their crazy town hall show.
Another Possible Terror Attack not Called a Terror Attack
Nikitas3.com wrote recently that the Fake News media including Phony Fox News are doing everything in their power to minimize the reality of muslim terror attacks on the West.
For instance they almost always report that an attack by a muslim “is not believed to be a terror attack” even before the attacker’s motives are known.
Phony Fox News recently joined in the chorus once again, reporting about an airline mechanic named Abdul-Majeed Marouf Ahmed Alani, who reportedly came to the US from Iraq in the 1980s:
An American Airlines employee, allegedly angry over stalled union contract talks with the company, has been accused of disabling the navigation system on a flight slated to take off from Miami over the summer, investigators said Thursday.
Abdul-Majeed Marouf Ahmed Alani, a veteran mechanic with the airline, was arrested Thursday and charged with willfully damaging, destroying or disabling an aircraft, The Miami Herald reported, citing a court affidavit.
Pilots on Flight 2834 bound for Nassau were alerted to the problem by an aircraft warning system before they took off on July 17, preventing possible injury to the 150 people on board.
Crews took the plane to an American Airlines hangar at Miami International Airport for routine maintenance and eventually discovered the tampering during an inspection. A mechanic found a tube underneath the cockpit that had been obstructed with foam, according to the paper.
Alani glued the foam inside the tube leading from the outside of the plane to its air data module, federal prosecutors allege. The system reports the plane’s speed and other flight data.
He reportedly told federal air marshals he was angry over stalled contract negotiations between the mechanics union and the airline, which had hurt him financially. He allegedly said he didn’t mean to harm anyone on board and had tampered with the aircraft’s data module to cause a “delay or have the flight canceled.”
Notice that the first sentence says that Alani was angry over ‘stalled union contract talks’. This immediately covers up for what very well could have been a terror attack to bring down an airliner mid-flight.
This is a travesty and a joke. Let’s have a full investigation. This looks like an attempted terror attack that was staged at the time of stalled union contract negotiations to cover up for its real goal. Yet the Phony Fox News article did not even mention the possibility of terrorism.
