Impeachment Backfire Begins, Trump Curse Strikes Again

Breitbart News reports:

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) hinted in a speech on the Senate floor Tuesday morning that the Senate will move to dismiss the pending articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump after opening arguments in the expected trial.

McConnell was reacting to a proposal by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on Monday that the Senate call four additional, in-person witnesses that were not called, or not available, during the House inquiry, led by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA).

But McConnell dismissed that suggestion out of hand, arguing that Schumer was trying to make “Chairman Schiff’s sloppy work more persuasive.”

McConnell accused Schumer of going straight to the news media with his proposals rather than speaking to him in person, as Senate leaders had done in the past.

He also noted that Schumer had misquoted the Constitution. The Democrat leader had claimed the Constitution gave the Senate “sole Power of Impeachment,” whereas Article I, Section 3 actually states, “The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments.”

“We don’t create impeachments over here … we judge them,” he declared.

This is very important. Obviously Democrats don’t even understand how impeachment works. They think that it means that Democrats hate Trump and that Trump therefore will be removed from office. recommends that McConnell end this sham as quickly as possible. Because Democrats are planning to do everything in their power to drag this process out. And every day that it is dragged out is a publicity bonus for the Democrats.

If McConnell gets a spine and holds a quick “vote to dismiss” the impeachment, Democrats will scream to high heavens. Good. They already are doing so. And we pro-Trumpers will meet them at the ballot box in November… and we will win. believes that McConnell will do the right thing. He has been strong when needed, like holding up the possible Senate confirmation of Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court, and getting more than 180 federal judges confirmed under Trump.

Meanwhile Democrat congressman Eric Swalwell said that if president Trump refuses to send documents and witnesses that House Democrats requested, “We can only conclude that you’re guilty.

Once again this shows that Democrats know nothing about our legal system and our freedoms. In America you are innocent until proven guilty.

Meanwhile PJ Media reported:

The fallout from the Democrats’ impeachment of Trump keeps getting worse for Democrats. Not only do a plurality now oppose impeachment and removal, but Trump is now leading all of his likely Democrat rivals for the White House in head-to-head match-ups, according to a new USA Today/Suffolk University Poll.

According to the recent national survey, President Trump is “defeating former Vice President Joe Biden by 3 percentage points, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders by 5 points, and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren by 8 points.” He also bests Pete Buttigieg by 10 points, and Michael Bloomberg by 9 points.

OK, there are many important things to know about this poll:

*First and foremost, it is devastating news for Democrats. Impeachment is backfiring. But there is much more to it.

*This is a USA Today and Suffolk University poll. These media/university polls are all biased against Trump in the first place. This mean that the president has an even bigger lead than this polls shows. This was proven true in the 2016 election.

*President Trump does not poll well; many people will not admit, even in private to a pollster, that they support Trump. So we can assume that his numbers are generally higher than any poll shows.

*Trump is only going to grow stronger as the election approaches. Americans are going to think, “He’s doing a good job on the economy, the border, trade deals, etc. We should stick with him.”

*Trump has the power of incumbency, which is very potent and which is going to work in his favor as the election approaches.

*Tens of millions of American are furious about this impeachment. They are going to turn out in November to vote for the president. Just look at how the conservatives thrashed the liberals in the recent elections in Britain, in a historic landslide. believes that this is coming to the US.

*Trump is going to campaign vigorously against the media and the Democrats when elections season rolls around starting on Labor Day 2020. He is not going to throw it all away like wimpy Romney did in 2012. Watch for Trump to pull out every stop.

*Trump is going to cream the Democrat candidate in the debates that are coming up in September-October 2020. He knows how to be fearless and to tout his successes, while the Democrat will have no comparable record whatsoever. And as the old saying goes, “You can’t beat somethin’ with nothin’”.

*Trump fundraising is going through the roof and Republicans in Congress are more united than ever.

*Meanwhile the accurate Rasmussen Reports poll shows Trump as high as 53% approval which is 6 points ahead of where Obama was at the same point in his presidency.

*Other polls show Trump with sky-high approval numbers, up to 34%, among blacks as a result of the great economy. If blacks abandon the Democrats in even modest numbers, it will be an even bigger bloodbath for the liberals than we think.

*The Trump Curse is striking again! The Trump haters-impeachers are getting hammered again and again. We all remember when black Trump-hating Democrat congressman Elijah Cummings ripped into the president last Summer over Trump’s disparaging comments about Cummings’ poor and crime-ridden congressional district in Baltimore.

Cummings died on October 17. At the same time, we all know how outspoken Never Trump conservative Bill Kristol has been against the president. Well, Kristol’s publication The Weekly Standard suspended publication on December 17, 2018.

And on and on. The Trump Curse keeps taking its toll over and over.

Even a biased Trump-hating CNN poll showed that support for impeachment among Democrats has fallen a whopping 13 points.

And rest assured, friends, that the old adage is going to apply: What does not kill Trump makes him stronger. And when this impeachment fails president Trump is going to be heading into his 2020 re-election campaign stronger than ever…
