Biden is Finished/ Great Trump Speech/ Pelosi Implodes

The bungled Iowa Caucus results show the Democrat Establishment’s worst nightmare. Their favored candidate Joe Biden not only did not win, but he has come in fourth, according to returns so far.

This is a disaster for the Democrats. It effectively eliminates Biden from the race since he is not likely to improve himself as the primaries roll on. has said many times that Biden is weak and will not be the nominee. Worse for Democrats is that the Iowa winners were the radical radical Bernie Sanders and the young, little-experienced and extremist mayor of a failed city Pete Buttigieg. Trump would shred them both.

It gets worse. Democrats probably delayed the Iowa vote count to shield their favored son Biden from the horrible outcome.

Democrats know that their situation is dire.

Trump Shines at Speech, Democrats Collapse

President Trump’s optimistic, well-mannered State of the Union speech was yet another disaster for the Democrats. As the president ticked off accomplishment after accomplishment, the Democrats looked sour and angry. They refused to applaud any good news since it was Trump announcing it.

Nancy Pelosi sat chewing her dentures and looking like a fool for the whole speech. And when she ripped up her copy of the president’s address as Trump concluded, it was perhaps the most classless moment in State of the Union history. She even broke the law. According to 18 U.S. Code § 2071.

(a)Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

(b)Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.

Right from the start Pelosi went after the president. The speaker skipped the traditional introduction, “Members of Congress, I have the high privilege and distinct honor of presenting to you the President of the United States.” Instead she said, “Members of Congress, the President of the United States.”

When the president mentioned ‘sanctuary’ laws in California that produce “catastrophic results”, Pelosi’s eyes bugged out and her jaw dropped to the desk. Priceless!

The president, on the other hand was as classy as can be. focusing largely on the improved economy. He did not even mention his impending acquittal in the Senate over impeachment; that was going to be even more good news on the day after the speech.

The president featured several guests for the speech including several black guests who are benefiting from his agenda. This infuriated Democrats who see that many black voters are trending toward Trump as election day nears. Dems were also enraged about the president highlighting a man whose brother had been murdered by an illegal alien.

But the most poignant moment of the address was the awarding of the Medal of Freedom to Rush Limbaugh, who recently announced that he has cancer. Rush looked somewhat older and more subdued than we are used to seeing him, and it was bittersweet to see him awarded the medal during the speech by First Lady Melania Trump. God bless Rush!

One of the most interesting notes of the speech was what appeared to be enthusiasm for Trump by US senator Kyrsten Simena of Arizona. She is a Democrat who was elected in 2018. Could she be signalling that she is going to switch parties? It appears that way to

In a CBS/YouGov poll, the Trump speech was seen favorably by a whopping 82% of Independents! Wow!

In the Democrat response to the speech, Michigan governor Gretchen Witmer talked about a kid filling the potholes on his street with dirt. Yes, this is the Democrats’ vision for America.

Trump’s speech was the official kickoff of his re-election bid. Democrats know that their party is in total disarray. They know that Trump is strong, accomplished and is going to win in November, and that their hopes are disappearing quickly.

In his speech, president Trump effectively began asking Americans a question that will win in November: “Are you better off than you were four years ago?

And a resounding majority is going to answer, “Yes we are!”

Here is the fantastic ending to the Trump speech:

As the world bears witness tonight, America is a land of heroes. This is a place where greatness is born, where destinies are forged, and where legends come to life. This is the home of Thomas Edison and Teddy Roosevelt, of many great generals including Washington, Pershing, Patton, and MacArthur. This is the home of Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, Amelia Earhart, Harriet Tubman, the Wright Brothers, Neil Armstrong, and so many more. This is the country where children learn names like Wyatt Earp, Davy Crockett, and Annie Oakley. This is the place where the pilgrims landed at Plymouth and where Texas patriots made their last stand at the Alamo — (applause) — the beautiful, beautiful Alamo.

The American nation was carved out of the vast frontier by the toughest, strongest, fiercest, and most determined men and women ever to walk on the face of the Earth. Our ancestors braved the unknown; tamed the wilderness; settled the Wild West; lifted millions from poverty, disease, and hunger; vanquished tyranny and fascism; ushered the world to new heights of science and medicine; laid down the railroads, dug out the canals, raised up the skyscrapers. And, ladies and gentlemen, our ancestors built the most exceptional republic ever to exist in all of human history, and we are making it greater than ever before. (Applause.)

This is our glorious and magnificent inheritance. We are Americans. We are pioneers. We are the pathfinders. We settled the New World, we built the modern world, and we changed history forever by embracing the eternal truth that everyone is made equal by the hand of Almighty God. (Applause.)

America is the place where anything can happen. America is the place where anyone can rise. And here, on this land, on this soil, on this continent, the most incredible dreams come true.

This nation is our canvas, and this country is our masterpiece. We look at tomorrow and see unlimited frontiers just waiting to be explored. Our brightest discoveries are not yet known. Our most thrilling stories are not yet told. Our grandest journeys are not yet made. The American Age, the American Epic, the American adventure has only just begun.

Our spirit is still young, the sun is still rising, God’s grace is still shining, and, my fellow Americans, the best is yet to come. (Applause.)

Thank you. God bless you. And God bless America. Thank you very much.
