Watch out friends, scientificamerican.com, the website of Scientific American magazine, recently reported that 'Effective World Government Will Be Needed to Stave Off Climate Catastrophe'.
This is a frightening endorsement of the establishment of a global ruling body, which is the goal of all of the climate alarmists. Because Scientific American is yet another once-respectable publication that has been commandeered by the radical left.
An SA reporter named Gary Stix wrote about addressing so-called ‘global warming’ that (note italicized bold sentences):
‘Unfortunately, far more is needed. To be effective, a new set of institutions would have to be imbued with heavy-handed, transnational enforcement powers. …Some of the things that would need to be contemplated: How do we overcome our hard-wired tendency to “discount” the future: valuing what we have today more than what we might receive tomorrow? Would any institution be capable of instilling a permanent crisis mentality lasting decades, if not centuries? How do we create new institutions with enforcement powers way beyond the current mandate of the U.N.? Could we ensure against a malevolent dictator who might abuse the power of such organizations?’
‘Heavy-handed transnational enforcement powers’? Wow. You can read this whole article if you dare but rest assured that it is just more of the same that is being suggested throughout the world media – that a behemoth and all-controlling world government (i.e., world bureaucracy) is needed in order to make all economic decisions.
This ‘warming’ crisis is bunk. Never mind that warm weather always has proven to be beneficial to mankind versus cold weather. Just look at a world population map. Man has avoided the extreme cold areas since the beginning.
So rest assured that Scientific American should be called Scientific Socialism because it is endorsing a global government. Because these eco-militants are all on the extreme left and want to use government environmentalism to control us all.
Look at what else Stix wrote:
‘A policy article authored by several dozen scientists appeared online March 15 in Science to acknowledge this point: “Human societies must now change course and steer away from critical tipping points in the Earth system that might lead to rapid and irreversible change. This requires fundamental reorientation and restructuring of national and international institutions toward more effective Earth system governance and planetary stewardship.”’
Both of those statements mention “institutions”. This means handing over control of all human activities to small groups of people like the editors of Scientific American magazine who will work hand-in-hand with political leaders to decide all economic activity. You know, the government/media complex that already controls half of what we do. They want full control, however.
And don’t be fooled by their title of “scientists”. They are nothing but political radicals. Their ‘science’ is ‘junk science’ and they have solutions that are terrifying. Real “scientists” have been forced out or ignored just as real scholars have been forced out of our universities and replaced by socialist hacks.
Oh, no! say the enviros. They are just trying to save mankind!
No friends; they are fanatics. And they have allies everywhere. Look at the liberals around you who have dangerously radical leanings, who give lots of money to increasingly militant enviro groups, who read Scientific American and other left-wing propaganda and who think that ideas about an all-powerful world government are perhaps reasonable and necessary.
Stix writes:
‘If we are ever to cope with climate change in any fundamental way, radical solutions on the social side are where we must focus, though.’
Woah, woah, woah… Watch those two words “radical solutions”. Because remember that ‘global warming’ and ‘climate change’ are merely theories that have been debunked repeatedly. And when someone wants “radical solutions” to an unproven hypothesis things are going to get ugly because it all becomes a pursuit of the increasingly absurd and theoretical. And the more absurd it becomes the worse the ‘solutions’ are going to get. All common sense goes out the window because it all becomes conceptual in nature.
As it stands now ‘global warming’ alarmists are in the second phase of tyranny – financial corruption. These eco-intellectuals, unemployable in the real world, are taking for themselves massive amounts of taxpayer money and university money and enviro money just for saying that ‘global warming’ exists. And when people are being paid to support a theoretical point of view and to propose “radical solutions”, you had better watch out.
The first phase is control of the media. And for years the only “news” has been that ‘global warming’ exists, no questions asked. Even though Al Gore has been challenged to open debates many times and has refused. Because he knows that his theory is full of holes and that he will be embarrassed in a debate.
Then the alarmists use very selective information like a dictatorship always does. For instance they now are pointing to one single mild winter in the Eastern US as sure-fire evidence of ‘warming’ while ignoring the vicious cold and snow in Europe and in Alaska at the same time. And ignoring years of cold winters in the US.
And those of us who disagree with the GW fanatics are accused of being “traitors” like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. once said we are. This is another step to tyranny – demonizing dissenting points of view with the most extreme charges.
The ‘warming’ alarmists also ignore history, another step on the road to despotism. They ignore the fact that during the Medieval Period of roughly 900 AD to 1300 AD that temperatures in Europe were much hotter than today; it is known through historical records from that time. And new research says that the whole globe was hotter during that time.
And they ignore the fact that 400 years of warm weather actually helped the Medieval peasantry to prosper and even to grow taller(!).
They ignore the fact that the climate then ‘flipped’ and, for no reason, went into a cold period and that there was much suffering as a result.
That cold period lasted until about 1850, and since then we have been in a relatively warm period but with fluctuations. Because the climate and the weather are never predictable.
And now after we had one warm winter in the US and had a week of warm March temperatures some ‘climate change’ fanatics are venturing out and talking apocalypse.
But they had better watch out. Because once they start demagoguing the issue the weather is going to change like it did when Al Gore once gave a speech in New York city about ‘warming’ on the coldest day in decades. He was laughed out of town.
No, the ‘warming’ alarmists were silent when we had the wildest winter in decades in 2011 in the Northeast with snow up to the mailbox. And increasingly they are less and less inclined to speak out. Because they know what we all know. That you can never predict the weather. Or the climate. Which is why they changed the name of their crisis to ‘climate change’ from ‘global warming’. Because then any change at all in the weather or climate can be called a crisis.
Very convenient…
Then when one single mild winter saved us all large amounts on our heating bills and we enjoyed ourselves just a little bit, the fanatics never smile and say that we were spared and thank God for the nice weather.
No, they tell us only to be worried and unhappy.
Just like they are.
