Here is a recent excerpt from nationaljournal.com:
Puzzling break-ins over the last month at the offices of at least three House members and several committees have U.S. Capitol Police gumshoes working to find a pattern and the culprits, with missing items ranging from cash and expensive computer equipment to autographed baseballs and alcohol. In at least four of the cases, thieves broke into the offices at night when doors were locked, leading some staffers to believe they were victims of an inside job.
“The evidence points to someone with access to my office, and other offices in the Capitol complex, as the perpetrator,” freshman Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., surmised in a letter to the House’s Office of the Chief Administrative Officer.
Other offices hit… include those of Reps. Jerry Lewis, R-Calif., and Jon Runyan, R-N.J.
OK, the three victims are all Republicans, right? And the other side of the coin is that the staff that runs the US Capitol (administrative, security, maintenance, janitorial etc.) is surely made up mostly of liberal unionized Democrat government employees.
In other words, this was an inside job, friends. With Republicans targeted even in the halls of Congress.
Meanwhile standard.net reported recently:
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Rush Limbaugh was officially inducted… into the Hall of Famous Missourians. But Democrats are still hopeful his bronze bust will never be on display alongside those of Harry Truman, Mark Twain and Walt Disney.
Now look at these two sentences (note italicized segment):
The conservative radio talk show host was inducted in a state Capitol ceremony. But in a break from tradition, the public and Democratic lawmakers were not allowed into the chambers of the House of Representatives, which were locked and guarded by armed members of the Missouri Highway Patrol while the ceremony took place.
So what do these two stories have in common?
They represent the ongoing targeting of Republicans and conservatives by liberals and Democrats. Any time a Republican or conservative is recognized or honored or is just doing his/her job, he/she is targeted by the Democrat left for some type of protest.
Imagine that… police protection was needed for a public ceremony involving a broadcaster who is acting completely within the law on his job. Dreadful. But that is what you get when angry Democrats are involved. Meanwhile US Capitol police are confounded as Republicans’ offices are robbed right under their noses.
This shows that American freedom today has become a one-way street. The increasingly radical Democrats are ignoring the respect that our Constitutional republic is supposed to tolerate for all points of view.
Just look at the ‘occupy Wall Street’ movement. They were supposed to be the Democrats’ answer to the Tea Parties. And while the Tea Parties are law-abiding people the media have tried to fabricate many negative stories about them.
For instance when Tea Partiers went to Washington to protest the ObamaCare bill the media printed a nationwide story and made it news for days that a Tea Partier had shouted racial epithets at a black congressman even though there never was one shred of evidence produced of the epithets.
Yet when the ‘occupiers’ camped out illegally in public parks, used the streets as their bathrooms, committed murder, rape and suicide, shut down businesses, stole things, started fires, threatened people, damaged property and fought with police Democrats like Nancy Pelosi said “God bless them…” and the Media Left tried to prop them up with every possible type of positive coverage.
See the double standard? And why is this happening?
Because the Democrat left and much of the American media have been taken over by radicals who act in extremist ways. That is why the Democrats today are being viewed as a shrinking party that caters only to blacks and other minority and extreme viewpoints.
In Wisconsin union protesters did hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage to the state capitol building and its grounds in protesting Republican governor Scott Walker’s fiscal reforms that took power away from public employee unions. Protesters even rallied outside the private residences of Republican Wisconsin lawmakers, an obvious act of intimidation that leftist groups use frequently.
How many of these types of damaging and intimidating protests do you see by Republicans and conservatives?
Answer: Zero. Because we conservatives abide by the law.
When black mobs beat innocent white people in places like Wisconsin and Virginia the police virtually ignored the violence and in several cases refused to even take statements from the victims.
Why?
Because many police today are on the unionized, Democrat left and carry out a liberal agenda that is pro-black. This includes covering up black violence.
Here is another example out of thousands: Pictures posted on the internet after Earth Day 2012 showed that the environmentalists who had rallied in a park in San Francisco had left a mountain of garbage behind. The Media Left ignored the garbage.
This is typical. Bad behavior is endemic on the Democrat left and then it is dismissed or ignored by their media allies. But if one single Tea Partier accidentally drops a candy wrapper onto the ground, it is national news.
When Rush Limbaugh called a birth-control advocate “a slut” on his radio show, he apologized. But when left-wing TV comedian Bill Maher called Christians “stupid” – an attack not on an individual but on tens of millions of good people – he never apologized.
Yet Maher has not been targeted relentlessly like Limbaugh has. See the double standard, even though Limbaugh apologized?
Here’s another issue: Where is all the voter fraud in America?
Oh, sure, you have the occasional isolated case on the Republican side. But we know that 99% of fraud is on the Democrat left. For instance, while Democrat attorney general Eric Holder says there is no problem with voter fraud, a ‘sting’ video showed a young actor going into a Washington, DC polling place and being offered Holder’s very own ballot without having to prove that he was Holder by showing an ID.
This no-ID-required system allows widespread voter fraud that is virtually all Democrat in nature. In fact three very important elections in the last 10 years that chose Democrats – for the governorship of Washington state in 2004; for the US Senate in South Dakota in 2002; and for the US Senate in Minnesota in 2008 – all had strong evidence of voter fraud when the margin of victory was very small. But since it could not be proven conclusively the elections were allowed to stand.
Then when Republican George W. Bush won the 2000 presidential election fair and square by winning the Florida electoral vote by a small margin, Democrat crybabies took to the media for years afterward despite the fact that count after recount showed Bush the winner.
Meanwhile Republican candidate Richard Nixon knew, and the whole nation knew, that the Democrats and the Kennedy family had blatantly stolen the presidential election of 1960 for John F. Kennedy.
Did Nixon complain for years on end?
No, he took it like a man. Like Democrats never do.
