President Trump is the most anti-war US leader in the last century. There have been fewer military combat deaths under Trump than under any other modern president because he loves our soldiers and would never sacrifice a single one of them unnecessarily. He has started no wars and is even drawing down US troops from Iraq, Afghanistan and Germany.
Trump is a genuine conservative because conservatives genuinely want peace. But conservatives are not pacifists in the accepted sense of the word. We conservatives believe in a strong and well-funded military to deter aggression against America; we are willing to fight when necessary; while we do not want to use that military in useless and endless foreign wars that do nothing to protect America.
Pacifists, on the other hand, hate the US military, want to defund it, and are not willing to fight for America.
Pacifists are left-wingers who claim to oppose war and violence, but that is a false front. They generally support abortion, for instance, and support the riots, and support leniency for terrorists and for criminals. Leftists say nothing when communists and islamists wage war and terror all over the globe. It is amazing how often Democrats in the US have been silent as muslims commit terror, often defending them or trying to explain away their violence.
But this idea of conservatives desiring peace does not seem to apply to Republican president George W. Bush, who sent our military heroes into the disastrous Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts.
So it is important to remember the truth: Bush is not a conservative and never was. The Bush family is not conservative. They are liberal Republicans, but worst of all they are globalists. They believe in a ‘new world order’ which is another name for globalism. President George HW Bush (in office from January 1989 to January 1993) even used those words in a speech in 1991 when he said:
“Out of these troubled times, our fifth objective — a new world order — can emerge: a new era, freer from the threat of terror, stronger in the pursuit of justice, and more secure in the quest for peace. An era in which the nations of the world, east and west, north and south, can prosper and live in harmony.”
This was not a slip. This is what the Bushes believe. Globalists believe in a global government and not the sovereignty of individual nations.
Globalists like to say that they are pacifists but they really believe in a permanent state of chaos and war so that other globalists can step in and seize power. They are people like Bush, John Bolton, Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, John McCain, Bill Clinton, German chancellor Angela Merkel, the communists in China, the United Nations, the European Union, leftists in the US and Europe, and others.
Meanwhile liberals and Democrats are not even necessarily pacifists at all. Ultra-liberal Democrat US president Lyndon Johnson, who gave us more social programs than any other modern-day leader, is the one who escalated the Vietnam War from almost nothing into the catastrophe that it turned into. Johnson is considered to be America’s most corrupt president ever who profited from the war personally, along with his friends.
We conservatives were hoodwinked by globalist Bush on the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. We believed that Bush would get us in and out quickly. We thought that Bush knew what he was doing. But he did not. Bush is an elitist fool and a warmonger like McCain was.
Perhaps you have noticed that Bush has become an anti-Trumper. He did not even speak at the Republican convention. He is doing this so that he gets good treatment from the Fake News media over his failed presidency which included not only the two wars but the 9/11 attacks and the economic collapse of 2008.
Bush never should have sought to topple Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein with his invasion. That was pure globalist arrogance, that somehow we could impose our Western will, and some nebulous global goodness, on a volatile Middle Eastern nation.
Hussein was a brutal leader, but unfortunately such a leader is sometimes needed in that unstable part of the world. Hussein was keeping Iraq peaceful. The country was largely stable under his rule and Christians and muslims were living and worshiping side-by-side. He actually was protecting the Christians as another Middle Eastern strongman, Bashar al Assad, has been doing in Syria for decades.
Once Bush destabilized Iraq with his invasion, however, the country began to be destroyed as islamists, backed by Iran, fought back against the Americans. Iraq’s 1.5 million Christians were dispersed, injured or killed and their churches were largely destroyed by the muslim radicals. Hundreds of thousands of Iraqi muslims also died in the conflict.
A conservative US military veteran recently confronted Joe Biden about his vote in support of the Iraq war. This is going to haunt Biden as several groups, including liberal pacifists, step up their attacks on Biden for that vote. After all, Biden is a Deep State Washington insider and a card-carrying, pro-China globalist.
President Trump is a conservative and a nationalist. Nationalism is the opposite of globalism. As a nationalist Trump puts America First. He does not want to implement policies for the alleged betterment of the whole world, as globalists do. He does not want to impress American ideas on the world. He wants each nation to manage its own affairs but to ally themselves with a free USA.
The European Union, which is one of the leading globalist institutions, wants unlimited immigration into Europe. This causes instability and chaos in Europe, which is what the globalists want. Globalists like Obama and Biden, and Bush too, want the US to have open borders, which is a clear path to internal chaos. Perhaps you noticed that Bush did nothing about illegal immigration during his two terms as president (2001 to 2009).
President Trump even went so far as to say recently that the generals in the Pentagon are warmongers and war profiteers. This shocked Washington and the world. Speaking at a White House press conference, Trump claimed that top Pentagon officials “want to do nothing but fight wars so that all of those wonderful companies that make the bombs and make the planes and make everything else stay happy.”
This is an amazing statement that sounds like it could have come from a pacifist or from an anti-war leftist. And we conservatives never believed it since it came from the left. But these leftists were correct and Nikitas3.com admits my mistake in not taking them seriously. It took Trump to show the truth, as he has done on so many issues.
Conservatives believed that George W. Bush was acting in America’s interest in going into Iraq and Afghanistan. He was not. He led us into a disastrous wars that killed more than 6,000 US troops and injured tens of thousands more, some of them seriously. Hundreds of thousands of soldiers suffered from the after-effects of those wars, which also did massive destruction to the countries of Iraq and Afghanistan.
President Trump is showing us the way to a more peaceful world by refraining from war but keeping us strong at the same time. That is what a conservative should do. We conservatives want peace and prosperity, not war, chaos and economic instability.
Meanwhile just a few weeks after helping to broker peace between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), president Trump has been nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize.
The nomination was submitted by Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament, who praised Trump for working toward peace in places like the Middle East, Eastern Europe and North Korea too.
“For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees,” Tybring-Gjedde, a four-term member of Parliament who also serves as chairman of the Norwegian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, said.
Tybring-Gjedde also praised Trump for withdrawing a large number of troops from the Middle East. “Indeed, Trump has broken a 39-year-old streak of American Presidents either starting a war or bringing the United States into an international armed conflict,” he said.
This is Trump’s second Peace Prize nomination. He was nominated in 2018 following his Singapore summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.
President Trump truly deserves the Nobel Prize…
Fake News Media Monument to Itself is Closing
(Here is a brief commentary posted on Nikitas3.com on December 19, 2019.)
The Newseum is a Washington, DC museum that charges $25 admission to see exhibits dedicated to the media. It will close at the end of 2019.
The Newseum opened in nearby suburban Virginia in 1997 in a modest building, and was re-opened in 2008 in a massive $450 million building in Washington proper. The Washington Examiner reports:
The Newseum heads to the morgue
… With dozens of movie theaters, interactive galleries, and a massive collection of news-related artifacts plopped in the center of Pennsylvania Avenue, the Newseum was supposed to be a blowout success. Instead, it turned out to be an overweight, embarrassing cash sink.
It wasn’t always this way. When the Newseum was launched in 1997 as a project of the Freedom Forum (itself spun off from the media behemoth the Gannett Foundation), its first incarnation was a modest, dome-shaped structure behind Gannett and across the street from the old American Spectator building in Rosslyn, Virginia…
… The costs of maintaining so many interactive exhibitions has been a weight since the beginning, but after 10 years of losses, it has finally become unsustainable.
It is delicious that a museum dedicated to the Fake News media would close during president Trump’s tenure in the White House.
The Trump Curse strikes again!
