Trump Rebounds from Virus, Drives Democrats Crazy

President Trump offered an amazing 5-minute video update on his health after his virus scare. You must see it.

In the video, he is totally Trump – back to his old self. He is enthusiastic, energetic, and has high praise for a drug that he was given called Regeneron that he says cured him overnight. He is promising to get this drug out to Americans in large quantities as soon as possible. It is not a vaccine but apparently a pill/treatment of some type.

This should be a big lift for the country and this is the beginning of the Trump surge to victory on election day. Oh, sure, Democrats and the Fake News media had figured him for dead just a few days ago, and he now looks and sounds fantastic. Americans are going to be happy to see this video and to hear about Regeneron.

Trump is like a cat with nine lives; he seems to always bounce back from adversity. remembers the first Trump-Hillary Clinton debate in September 2016. I was convinced at the time that Trump had blown it by being too aggressive, yet he went on to win the election six weeks later.

Trump did it again in his first debate with Joe Biden. I was very disappointed that he was so belligerent and so were millions of other conservatives. I had been waiting for this debate for months since I knew that Trump is a great communicator and Biden would probably screw up badly.

But the tables were turned. The worst part is that he lost the opportunity to convince millions of undecided voters to vote for him since the first presidential debate is one of the most watched events in all of TV history (85 million watched in 2016).

Against Biden, Trump should have very calmly made his points that Joe Biden’s son Hunter is deeply involved with global corruption. Hunter Biden reportedly made 411 overseas trips when his father was vice president; that Biden wants to kill the natural gas “fracking” industry in Pennsylvania; that Biden “took a knee” with the ‘black lives matter’ thugs; that Biden has been an ineffective bureaucrat for 47 years in Washington. And on and on.

Instead everyone was focused during that debate on Trump’s constant interruptions and so he lost a golden opportunity.

But somehow Donald Trump always seems to bounce back. And he will bounce back in the next two debates just as Mike Pence was reasonable and rational and easily won his debate against an arrogant and condescending Kamala Harris, who was a poor debater. So now we know why Harris has been avoiding questions throughout the campaign.

Then came the virus and now Trump has rebounded even from that. And over and over again he uses a technique that he has honed over decades both as a subject of the media, and as a participant in the media through his long-running Apprentice TV show: He draws attention to himself and then takes control of the conversation.

There is an old saying attributed to the early Hollywood star Mae West but also to others like Mark Twain and Oscar Wilde that, “I don’t care what they say about me as long as they spell my name right.” Or that “all publicity is good publicity”.

While neither is necessarily true, they both have some validity, and the #1 exponent of both ideas is Donald Trump, and here is a prime example. When he came down the escalator and said that he was going to run for president in June 2015, the event would have been largely ignored by the national media except for one word that he said, which is that “rapists” were coming over the Mexican border.

That single word caused a national media firestorm, and to this day that quote is still discussed, although it was taken out of context. Here is his actual quote:

When do we beat Mexico at the border? They’re laughing at us, at our stupidity. And now they are beating us economically. They are not our friend, believe me. But they’re killing us economically.

The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else’s problems.

Thank you. It’s true, and these are the best and the finest. When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.

But that single word “rapists” caused Trump’s announcement to become national and international news. And it was classic Trump. It drew attention to him more than any other comment could have possibly done.

Trump often does this intentionally. He knows that his name has probably been spoken more than any other president in US history, and that that is a good thing for him.

He has honed this technique during his presidency. He is constantly being provocative with his tweets and with his statements. And so while many of us thought that he blew it with his outrageous behavior in the first debate with Biden, you never know. His behavior may have played well with some undecided voters and may have been a premeditated tactic that actually helped him by focusing attention on himself.

After all, he is president of the United States and the most famous person in the world. So who am I – or anyone else – to question his tactics.

When he contracted the coronavirus, millions of Americans thought that he certainly was finished. But not I said, “You just watch. He will turn this into a plus…” and he now is doing so. He is going to rebound and use his recovery as a selling point in his re-election.

President Trump just seems to thrive on being in a constant state of energy, that if someone is not talking about him then he creates a situation in which they do.

He thrives on driving the Democrats crazy. Just look at how he won the 2016 election when nobody except considered it to be possible. first wrote on the RedState national conservative website way back in January 2011 that ‘Trump Will be Next US President’.

Joe Bruno has Passed Away

Republican Joe Bruno has passed away at age 91. Bruno served in the New York state Senate for decades, becoming majority leader in 1994 until his resignation in 2008.

He came up from humble roots as the son of Italian immigrants in Glens Falls, NY. He was a good man who cared about the people in his community near Albany.

The reason that I am writing about him is that he was a Republican thus he was persecuted. Twice he was prosecuted for campaign election law violations and both times he was cleared.

Bruno was just another Republican to suffer at the hands of the Democrat persecution machine that also targeted president Trump, president Richard Nixon, his vice president Spiro Agnew, the late US senator Ted Stevens of Alaska, former Texas governor Rick Perry, former Texas congressman Tom DeLay and many others.

Friends, it is a travesty how Democrats use the legal system to persecute their political enemies. It is thoroughly un-American, but then again so are Democrats.

Additional note: Glens Falls is in the part of New York state referred to as The North Country, which is the huge 21st Congressional District represented in the US House of Representatives by Elise Stefanik, who is a rising star in the Republican party. expects Stefanik to handily win re-election in November. She was the youngest woman ever elected to the US Congress in 2014 at age 30.

Remember the name Elise Stefanik. She could be a future president of the United States.

Jane Fonda’s Obscene Mind Works Again

Jane Fonda is the demented communist Hollywood actress who once posed smiling with communist North Vietnamese soldiers during the war. She has insulted America over and over throughout her life. She recently said about the coronavirus:

“What a great gift! What a tremendous opportunity! We’re just so lucky! — And I just think that Covid is God’s gift to the Left. That’s a terrible thing to say. I think it was a very difficult thing to send down to us, but it has ripped the band-aid off who [Trump] is and what he stands for and what is being done to average people and working people in this country.”

This woman is very, very sick and has been so her entire life. But that is what you get from a life of play-acting in the sickest town in the world.

Fonda had better prepare for what is coming her way. She is going to get totally creamed in the court of public opinion, just like she was savaged 48 years ago. That beating has never been forgotten.
