In yet another media assault on white people Peter Bergen, the so-called “national security analyst” at CNN.com, wrote a column about dangerous ‘right wing’ Americans, which means white people. Here are excerpts from his column with a Nikitas3.com comment after each:
Bergen writes: On Sunday, a man shot and killed a 14-year-old boy and his grandfather at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City and then drove to a nearby Jewish retirement community where he shot and killed a third person. Police arrested a suspect, Frazier Glenn Cross, who shouted “Heil Hitler” after he was taken into custody. Cross is a well-known right wing extremist who founded the Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan and the White Patriot Party, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center. Nikitas3.com comment: False. Cross is virtually unknown compared to, say, Al Sharpton one of America’s most significant black leaders who inspired a black male in 1995 to burn Freddie’s Fashion Mart, a Jewish-owned business in New York City. Seven people died in that fire. But you will never hear Bergen criticize Sharpton. Years of incendiary taunts by extremist blacks like Sharpton, Maxine Waters and many others have led to a tidal wave of black crimes against white and Jewish Americans including murder, but you will never hear Bergen talk about that.
Bergen writes: Now let’s do the thought experiment in which instead of shouting “Heil Hitler” after he was arrested, the suspect had shouted “Allahu Akbar.” Only two days before the first anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings, this simple switch of words would surely have greatly increased the extent and type of coverage the incident received. Nikitas3.com comment: Bergen implies that these Cross murders have received little media attention. False. They have received wall-to-wall coverage. Because to leftists any crime that can be pinned on any ‘right wing’ white person must be dwelled upon obsessively in the ongoing effort to smear all conservative white Americans who are statistically the most law-abiding citizens of all.
Bergen writes: Yet the death toll in the shootings in Kansas is similar to that of last year’s Boston Marathon bombings, where three people were killed and the suspects later killed a police officer as they tried to evade capture. (Many more, of course, were also wounded in the Boston attacks; 16 men, women and children lost limbs.) In fact, since 9/11 extremists affiliated with a variety of far-right wing ideologies, including white supremacists, anti-abortion extremists and anti-government militants, have killed more people in the United States than have extremists motivated by al Qaeda’s ideology. According to a count by the New America Foundation, right wing extremists have killed 34 people in the United States for political reasons since 9/11. By contrast, terrorists motivated by al Qaeda’s ideology have killed 23 people in the United States since 9/11. Nikitas3.com comment: How deceptive! Remember that there are about 80 times as many whites as Muslims in America, so the RATE of violence by Muslims is actually 60 times the rate of these “right wing” white crimes, according to Bergen’s own numbers above. See how manipulative this guy is?
Bergen writes (in parentheses to make it seem like an afterthought): (Although a variety of left wing militants and environmental extremists have carried out violent attacks for political reasons against property and individuals since 9/11, none have been linked to a lethal attack, according to research by the New America Foundation.) Nikitas3.com comment: Oh, maybe so, but environmentalists have obstructed or shut down millions of jobs across America through their radical policies, destroying millions of lives in the process. It’s a vicious act to destroy a person’s livelihood, but liberals do it with impunity and people like Bergen never expose that type of “economic terrorism”.
Bergen writes: Moreover, since 9/11 none of the more than 200 individuals indicted or convicted in the United States of some act of jihadist terrorism have acquired or used chemical or biological weapons or their precursor materials, while 13 individuals motivated by right wing extremist ideology, one individual motivated by left-wing extremist ideology, and two with idiosyncratic beliefs, used or acquired such weapons or their precursors. Nikitas3.com comment: Wow. 13 people out of 315 million Americans. This is precisely how leftists like Bergen impugn white conservatives and cover up for Muslim radicals, through deceptive language and selective statistics and anecdotes. Golly, wasn’t the successful white bomber from the 1970s, William Ayers, a friend of Barack Obama? Yes, but you will never hear Bergen talk about Ayers.
Bergen writes: …in August 2012 …Wade Michael Page killed six people in a shooting at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin. Page was a member of a white supremacist band and associated with the Hammerskins, a white supremacist group. Page committed suicide during the attack. Nikitas3.com comment: Yes, true. And Bergen’s implication is that somehow Page and Cross represent conservative white people, or that the actions of the very few represent the many. This is pure hate speech and incitement. Meanwhile the facts show a completely different picture.
Bergen writes: In 2009, for instance, Shawna Forde, Albert Gaxiola, and Jason Bush raided a house in Arizona, killing Raul Flores and his daughter Brisenia. The three attackers sought to use the burglary to finance their anti-immigration vigilante group, Minutemen American Defense. Forde and Bush were convicted and sentenced to death. Gaxiola was sentenced to life in prison. Nikitas3.com comment: Bergen is implying that anyone who wants a secure border is some kind of wacko murderer while at the same time he ignores the astronomical crime rate in the US among illegal aliens. Why doesn’t Bergen do an essay on the number of illegal aliens in our jails? It is sky-high compared to the number of white supremacists. But don’t hold your breath. Remember Bergen’s basic template – white people are bad while illegals, Muslims and blacks are good people.
Bergen writes: Of course, the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil prior to 9/11 was the Oklahoma City bombing, which was masterminded by Timothy McVeigh, a man with deep ties to far-right militant circles. McVeigh killed 168 people when he bombed the Alfred P. Murrah federal building on April 19, 1995. Nikitas3.com comment: Bergen conveniently omits the fact that McVeigh was acting in direct retaliation for the mass killing of 76 peaceful Christians by federal agents at Waco, Texas in 1993 under Democrat president Bill Clinton, whom Bergen most likely voted for.
Bergen writes: The threat from al Qaeda and its associated forces has changed significantly since 9/11. Today, almost 13 years after 9/11, al Qaeda has not successfully conducted another attack inside the United States. Nikitas3.com comment: Excuse me?! This is a flat-out lie. Just to show how deceptive Bergen is, below is a list of major Muslim attacks that have succeeded since 9/11 or that came very close to succeeding, that all happened under Obama in the last 5 years. And don’t think that these attacks are not by “associated forces” of al Qaeda. Because all of these Muslim terrorists are part of a single anti-American network.
*The April 15, 2013 bombing of the Boston Marathon by two Russian Muslim immigrants. Three were killed and more than 250 injured. FBI knew well about one of these Islamists but still they pulled it off.
*The attempted May 1, 2010 Times Square car bomb in New York City which failed to detonate only by luck. Hundreds would have been killed and injured if it succeeded. The perpetrator, Faisal Shahzad, a Pakistan-born Muslim, was able to build this massive car bomb in Connecticut, to hide from security officials for two days afterward and then to board a flight to the Middle East, where he was captured just before takeoff.
This bombing attempt and Shahzad’s boarding of the airplane came after this young Middle Eastern Muslim male (security red flag) had made many trips to Pakistan (red flag), was on a terror watch list for a currency violation (red flag) and who purchased his airline ticket at the last minute (red flag) with cash (red flag) just two days after he tried to blow up Times Square.
*On Christmas Day 2009 a black Nigerian Muslim named Omar Farouk Abdulmutallab boarded a flight in Holland bound for Detroit. As the flight neared Michigan, Abdulmutallab tried to detonate a bomb in his underwear but failed only because passengers stopped him. Abdulmutallab had a string of security red flags – a long history of terrorist ties, a warning from his own father to international intel officials about his son’s radical associations, and he bought his airline ticket with cash.
*The November 2009 murders at Ford Hood in Texas in which a radical Muslim US Army major, who was well known to Army officials for his extremist views, was not singled out in order not to “profile” a Muslim and went on to kill 13 US military personnel. This is a perfect example of our emasculated, politically-correct military under the Democrats.
*The May 2009 murder of Army private William Long in Little Rock, Arkansas by a radical Muslim. The killer was Carlos Bledsoe, a black American convert to Islam who was known by the name Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad. Bledsoe was well known to American intel officials.
If Bledsoe were a Tea Party member then the government would have had him under surveillance, in custody or up on charges and Bergen would have eagerly listed Bledsoe in his commentary.
Bergen is a typical left-winger who will use any statistical manipulation to impugn “right wing” white people and to, in contrast, exonerate Islamists, blacks, illegal aliens and other who commit terror and murder. This is just about right for CNN, the network that fewer and fewer people are watching every year precisely because it showcases radicals like Bergen.
