Global Assault on Christians is Growing, now in Africa

We have all heard about the kidnapping of the 300 black African schoolgirls by the radical Islamist group Boko Haram. But most of the world media are ignoring the fact that the girls are Christians and that this is yet another attack on Christians worldwide by the thugs of Muslim terrorism.

These Islamic criminals are some of the most uncivilized people in the world and this kidnapping is just another of their grotesque acts. And while the world’s Muslims are generally poor and technologically backward, all of mankind’s progress – scientific, economic, religious, political, literary, artistic etc. – has emanated from Europe and the United States, with our historically Christian roots.

All Islamic nations today rely on technology developed in the Western Christian nations like computers, the internal combustion engine and even electricity itself. Without modern American/European oil technology Saudi Arabia would be just another impoverished sandbox.

Even these puny terrorists use Western technologies like modern weapons, and cell phones and computers to communicate while they often travel the world covertly on jetliners. So here is a proposition: Since they hate us then they should use only their own advanced technology against us like the tin-can telephone, the bow and arrow, and the flying carpet ride.

In short the Muslim radicals are ashamed of their own backwardness while they are at the same time viciously jealous of the success of Christianity – which is why millions of Muslims are flooding into Europe and the US.

These radicals must do everything they can to roll back Western/Christian supremacy. And since they can never match us, everything they do is negative including relentless attacks all over the globe from 9/11 in the United States to the Bali nightclub bombing in Indonesia to the kidnap of innocent girls in Africa, all the work of despicable cowards of the first degree. They act, of course, like they are tough men but in fact they are spineless eunuchs who use war tactics that even are outlawed by international treaty like using humans as shields and hiding in cemeteries, churches and mosques.

The United States could easily retaliate in Africa by selectively targeting Boko Haram sites with super-accurate “smart bombs” one by one until the girls are released. But Obama will never do that because Obama is in his mind a Muslim who does not want to harm the cause of his fellow Muslims.

Meanwhile Christians, who have created the most thoughtful, intelligent, advanced and generous societies on earth, are being driven out of the Middle East by these same terrorists. This will make the Middle East even a more barbarian place and it is happening even though Christianity was born and nurtured in places like Israel, Turkey and Syria and has been in the Middle East longer than Islam has. In fact Christians were first called “Christians” in Antioch in Syria in the 4th Century AD, three hundred years before the birth of Mohammed.

The recent civil war in Syria has had the effect of driving many of the 2 million Christians – about 10% of the population – into internal exile or out of that nation entirely. Christians had been worshipping peacefully in Syria side-by-side with Muslims and even with a small Jewish population under the Assad family’s authoritarian rule. Now Muslim terror groups have taken over the anti-Assad factions in the civil war there and have had their desired effect of uprooting much of the Christian population and destroying its ways of living.

Meanwhile Barack Obama has repeatedly sided with the Syrian “rebels” against Assad, which means that Obama is in effect siding with Muslim radicals. In this way Obama can give aid and comfort to extremists without actually admitting what he is doing.

This all comes after the fall of Saddam Hussein in Iraq. Under Hussein 1.5 million Christians were worshipping for decades in relative stability because the secular Hussein regime had an iron grip on that nation and allowed the Christians to worship peacefully. Under a more democratic Iraq dominated politically by Shia Muslims terrorists felt no fear in attacking everyone, specifically targeting Christians and their churches and driving 1 million Christians into internal or external exile.

What is worse is that the United States has repeatedly facilitated this war on Christians. By deposing Saddam Hussein the Bush administration unwittingly unleashed the terrorists on the Christians in Iraq. Meanwhile secretary of state Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama both cheered on the “Arab Spring” in 2011 in Egypt and Libya when we American conservatives warned that it would be nothing but a front for the rise of radical Islam.

The rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt led to a spasm of violence against the Coptic Christians who number about 8 million of Egypt’s 80 million people and who have been in Egypt for many more centuries than the Muslims. Fortunately the Egyptian military has re-taken power from the Islamists and stopped the attacks on the Christians.

The situation with the schoolgirls in Africa is even more monstrous and ominous and may mark a new front in the Muslim war on Christianity, a faith that is growing rapidly in Africa. And don’t swallow the propaganda that Muslims worldwide are generally peaceful and disagree with the terrorists. There are hundreds of millions of Muslims who support these murderers. Now get this, which reported recently:

The kidnapping of nearly 300 Nigerian schoolgirls by radical Islamic terror group Boko Haram has drawn international condemnation, including that of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

“Abominable,” is how she described the kidnapping, calling it an “act of terrorism” that merits “the fullest response possible.”

But the State Department, under Clinton’s leadership, repeatedly resisted and blocked efforts to designate Boko Haram as a terrorist group. Those who pushed for the designation as early as 2011 are now saying the department missed a major opportunity to track and target the deadly organization as it grew. (end of excerpt)

OK, folks, if this does not tell us again about Hillary Clinton nothing does. has repeatedly said that Clinton accomplished nothing as secretary of state, that she merely circled the globe spouting platitudes but affecting nothing, and that many very negative things happened on her watch including the Benghazi consulate attack in Libya; widespread corruption in the State Department itself including a prostitution scandal and a drug scandal; the rise of the radicals of the “Arab Spring” and in Syria; and now the failure to call Boko Haram a terrorist group. Clinton also made no issue whatsoever during her tenure about the destruction of Christians and their churches in Iraq and Syria.

And of course she called the Africa kidnappings “abominable” but this is classic Hillary Clinton – all words and no deeds. Meanwhile reported:

Christians are under siege in the Middle East, and the Obama administration is not doing enough to stop religious persecution by its allies, according to a new report from a bipartisan federal commission.

The report, from the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, faulted usual suspects Iran, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, as well as North Korea. The number of Christians in the Middle East has plunged to just 10 percent of the overall population from more than 25 percent in 2011. (end of excerpt)

Look again… from 25% to just 10% in just three years. This is stunning. If that type of figure applied to Muslims in the United States it would be called an international human rights scandal. But since it applies to Christians it is virtually ignored by the world media. continued:

The report identified the 16 worst violators of religious freedom, designating them “countries of particular concern.” It said Iran, a fixture on the commission’s reports since it began issuing them in 1999, has only gotten worse since “purportedly moderate President Hassan Rouhani” came to power last year.

“As of February 2014, at least 40 Christians were either in prison, detained or awaiting trial because of their religious beliefs and activities,” noted the report. (end of excerpt)

Indeed this is what we have come to expect from radical Islam, which has been on the rise for decades in the Middle East. Yet Islam is rising in the Christian West too because Christianity is by nature tolerant while Islam is becoming more intolerant in the most profound way.

During his March 2014 visit to Saudi Arabia Barack Obama declined to raise Christian human rights issues even after a bipartisan group of 70 members of Congress urged him to address them. Meanwhile reported this about the ongoing persecution of Christians:

On behalf of the suffering churches of Egypt, Iraq and Syria, a broad array of American Christians, with a degree of unity rarely seen since the Council of Nicaea in 325, have joined together in a “pledge of solidarity and call to action”. Their action results from deepening concern about the “wave of persecution” in the region of Christianity’s roots.

The American Christian leaders who signed the pledge commit to work within their congregations and communities to pray, educate and engage in foreign policy on behalf of these endangered fellow Christians and the other small religious groups who are similarly vulnerable.

…Some 200 Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox leaders have signed on — from Catholic Cardinal Wuerl, to National Association of Evangelicals’ chair Leith Anderson, to Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori of the Episcopal Church to Armenian Orthodox Archbishop Oshagan Cholayan. They include many lay civic society leaders, including Robert George of Princeton University, Jim Wallis of Sojourners, George Weigel of the Ethics and Public Policy Center, journalist Kirsten Powers, George Marlin, chair of Aid to the Church in Need-USA, and Lynne Hybels of Global Engagement of the Willow Creek Church. These Christian leaders have come together across faith traditions and political affiliations in response to the increasingly dire appeals from Middle Eastern Christians. As Baghdad’s Catholic Chaldean Patriarch Louis Sako recently cried out: “We feel forgotten and isolated. We sometimes wonder, if they kill us all, what would be the reaction of Christians in the West? Would they do something then?”

As the pledge recounts:

“While Christians have been leaving the Middle East for many years, and, in these three countries, members of all communities—including smaller religious communities and Muslims—suffer from violence and political turmoil, the Egyptian, Iraqi and Syrian Christian communities, under the additional scourge of intensifying religious extremism, are experiencing a sudden, massive exodus of their members from the region.”

With the rise of Islamist extremists, this situation has become so acute that, regarding the Christians, it is not only individuals who are threatened. The presence of the entire Christian community in the region of its birth is at stake. The pledge emphasizes:

“Since these communities account for most of the indigenous Christians in today’s Middle East, the continued presence of Christians in the region where Christianity originated 2,000 years ago is threatened.”

The pledge states that Egypt, Iraq and Syria have seen “scores of churches deliberately destroyed, many clergy and laypeople targeted for death, kidnapping, intimidation and forcible conversion, and hundreds of thousands of believers driven from their countries.” Specific patterns of attacks detailed in the pledge include:

*Christians, including some clergy, after being identified as such by their names, identity cards, or some other means, have been beheaded, shot execution-style or otherwise brutally murdered. Clergy have also been killed for their peace-making efforts or simply as personifications of the Christian faith.
*Untold numbers of Christians, including bishops, priests, pastors, and nuns, have been kidnapped and held for ransom.
*Young women have been abducted and forced to convert to Islam and marry their captors.
*In some instances, Christians have been told to convert to Islam or be killed; some have been forced to pay protection money.
*Muslim apostasy and blasphemy codes and standards for dress, occupation and social behavior are being enforced for Christians, as well as for Muslims, in some communities.
